Happy 21st Birthday to my best friend.

Last year I was almost too nervous to say happy birthday to you and now we are here celebrating together, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I love doing this life with you and I cannot wait to celebrate more and more birthdays to come. I always will be proud of everything you do, and I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU MORE.❤️

I felt as though this needed its own post.

To know Albert was such a life blessing. There was never a bad bone in his body, he would show up wanting the best for everyone. EVEN after his diagnosis of cancer. He never let it cancer or the way he was feeling get in the way.

I had the honor of receiving catching lessons from him and then years to follow him being an assistant coach to our team. He brought so much life to the game of softball and life in general. Albert actually had helped me fall in love with the sport of softball.

For me personally he had changed my whole mindset of the sport and life. He showed me there is so much more to a sport and to life and that it is not worth it to get in your head over little things, that life was too short to tear yourself up.

When I had heard about the loss of Albert I was actually at the softball fields myself coaching. It was this full life circle moment because it genuinely felt like he was there with us all. There was no better place to find out than one of his favorite places to be. As I end my days of playing softball and more days of coaching, I hope I make an impact on girls slightly close to what he did here.

@ballerm02 you and your family are deeply in my thoughts and I am so sorry for the loss. Your father was one of the best there is out there.
