To Hampton University,

Thank you for being my Home by the Sea, a place that became much more than a campus. Becoming my foundation, my turning point, and a space where I found myself growing.

To my dear family and friends,

Your support has been my strength. Your love, encouragement, and adamant belief in me have carried me through each challenge. I don’t know where I’d be without you all. I’m deeply grateful for everything you’ve poured into me.

To the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications,

Thank you for helping me find and refine my voice. You challenged me to think critically, report responsibly, and write with intention. More than that , you showed me journalism is about more than reporting facts; it’s about telling stories that matter. As I leave Scripps I have a clearer sense of purpose.

This isn’t just the end of a chapter but the beginning. I’ll take every lesson, every moment, and every bit of love from this journey with me.
