After a blistering set at Hasland Club in June, and a third appearance at @ynotfestival in July, we're very pleased to welcome back Derbyshire Alt-Rock wonders - @paytronsaint. Support comes from the incredible @cityflowersuk, who S40time caught at Nottinghams' Hockley Hustle Festival in October, and knew instantly that they'd pair up with Paytron Saint - with their debut EP out on the 28th featuring latest single "Anthony", this gig will pack a punch to send you reeling, before White Town's jyotimishra knocks you out with an exclusive DJ Set into the night... #s40time #thes40timesessions #thebankshowbar #thebankchesterfield #thisisazabrown #azabrown #lovechesterfield #chesterfieldlove #jyotimishra #whitetown #yourwoman #whitetownyourwoman #paytronsaint #cityflowers #cityflowersuk #Chesterfield #chesterfielduk #chesterfieldukrocks #chesterfieldderbyshire #chesterfieldmusic #chesterfieldmusicscene #ynotfestival #chesterfieldmusicians #derbyshiremusic #derbyshiremusician #derbyshiremusicians #derbyshiremusicscene #derbyshirelife #nottinghamband #liveonstage taken in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England by @paytron_saint

September's song is here! We've discussed this song for a long time, mostly whether to play it live or not, and it's always landed in the 'not'. After comments from a few people about how much they like it, we figured we'd drag it from the 2018 EP and see what it sounds like in 2023. It turns out it was pretty good.

When it came to recording, we didn't just want to do a straight re-record and wanted to put a bit of a twist on it, hence the addition of Sarah Newby on Cello and @fawn_music adding her amazing vocals.

As usual, @jjlovegrove has worked her magic on the cover art!

Let us know what you think of this one 😁

Hailing from the hills of the Amber Valley, @paytronsaint combines the energy and aggression of grunge with a soulful edge. Fresh off the back of a Radio Wigwam Best Band award, they are currently on a run of releasing a song a month through 2024.
