This is a little bit of my story.

From Portugal, to England, to years of trying to figure out what I actually wanted from life.

Barbering gave me direction.

It gave me something to work towards, something to improve at, and eventually something I could call my own.

There were setbacks, missed opportunities, long days, two jobs, college, courses, moving cities and a lot of learning along the way.

I’m still nowhere near where I want to be.

But I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

And most importantly, I’m grateful to every person who has been part of the journey so far.

This is only the beginning. ❤️

Today I did my first 1-to-1 private session with my brother @bigbucksssz and I came away from it feeling like this is something I’m meant to be doing.

Being able to teach, explain things properly and help a younger barber improve felt so natural to me. I really enjoyed breaking things down, answering questions and sharing what I’ve learned so far in my own journey.

What I liked most was how easy it felt to teach in a 1-to-1 environment. No pressure, no overthinking — just helping someone understand the craft better and giving them things they can take into their own work.

I’ve still got plenty to learn myself, but being able to pass knowledge on and help someone improve is something I definitely want to do more of.
