Rosferatu TOUR OCT 20-31
LIVE ORIGINAL SCORE BY :
DALLAS ACID & PAZ LENCHANTIN

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It tis no surprise that the clouds have cloaked the sun of Los Angeles today.
A shiver can be felt along the coast - the cold breath of Nosferatu bellowing his sails for his soon arrival!
October 20th Dallas Acid and @pazlenchantin will unearth their live soundtrack to Nosferatu @zebulonla.

Don’t miss this modern reimagining of the silent horror classic through howling theremin, screeching violin, hypnotic modular sequences, and soul-shaking gong. by @pazlenchantin

Today marks October 1st, and the bells of Halloween have begun to toll!

Scream if you may - but that shall not stop the undead!

For “the deadly breath of Nosferatu has filled the sails of the ship, so that it flew towards its goal at supernatural speed.”

We are thrilled to announce the first date of our tour of Nosferatu with a live performance of an original soundtrack by @pazlenchantin and @dallasacid at @zebulonla October 20th!

Soon, the cos ways of L.A. will be glowing in the orange embers of the Jack-o-lanterns aura, as black cats skulk in the enveloped shadows of the night.
Please…don’t be afraid - BE TERRIFIED - what you are hearing are not the sounds of a howling theremin, screeching violin, hypnotic modular sequences, or soul-shaking gong, but the screams of los angels in the distant winds as Nosferatu closes in to harbor soon!

While touring her latest record “Triste” Paz Lenchantin ended up in our little quiet pocket of Deep Ellum this week.

I was lucky enough to get to sit with Paz for a while. What I thought would be a quick hello, turned into a genuine connection between two humans. Thanks to her willingness to be so open to share her stories with me, by the end of her time spent here at Get Records With Me it felt like two old friends catching up.

From learning of Paz’ iconic contributions to songs and music videos for The Pixies and A Perfect circle, to her telling me how she used her Own Skull as an amp to teach herself Beatles songs in her closet as a kid. I have to say Paz Lenchantin is probably the Most Metal woman and artist I have had the pleasure of speaking with.

I truly admire the way this record is being put out. Keeping record stores like us alive by touring her new record at locally owned music shops and small secret shows is what’s keeping physical media and human connection alive. It’s really refreshing to see such an acclaimed artist stick to the basics.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Do yourself two favors, listen to Triste by Paz Lenchantin. Then make sure the next time you’re here when the new Get Records With Me is open, or ANY record shop, you pick up something you’ve never heard of and ask someone there what they’re listening to that day. These are the small moments that make us a community and not just people passing by.

Thank you Paz for spending the day in GRWM. We’ll never forget it.

Until we meet again! At the NEW LOCATION!! Comin this Fall! Here in Deep Ellum (We Hope)

We are thrilled to announce, this October, @dallasacid and @pazlenchantin will be on tour performing their live original soundtrack to F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent classic, Nosferatu.

Performed once, 10yrs ago, at a drive-in movie theatre on Halloween, and sealed in a sarcophagus, only to rise again from its tomb on this horrific anniversary!

Hope to see all you ghouls and night crawlers there!
