POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey friends! It's time for another round of the Everything Nerdy Nails Collab! Each month, we'll have a new nerdy topic (video games, movies, superheroes, etc) and create a mani based on the prompt.

Our next theme is THE SIMS due on NOVEMBER 16th!!

All skill levels and creativity are welcome. Nail art is not a requirement. And we want the prompts to be as unrestrictive as possible and leave them up to your interpretation. Whether you go full wild nail art or something simple like a ✨️vibe✨️ we want everyone to have a good time and hopefully try something that you wouldn't normally!

DM me or comment on this post that you would like to be added!

Hey friends! It's time for another round of the Themes and Techniques collab! Each month, we vote on a type of nail art (marbling, smoosh, dry brush, gradient, etc) and have either a color scheme or theme to go along with it.

The votes have been cast: our next theme is MOODY COLOR PALETTE and technique is MIXED PRINTS, due NOVEMBER 2ND!

All skill levels and creativity are welcome. We want everyone to have a good time and hopefully try something that you wouldn't normally! DM me or comment on this post that you would like to be added!

It's Fallout Day! Again!

Sara @no.h.nails and I came together again to host another year of #FalloutNailCollab 😍

Fallout is filled with cryptid creatures and I. Am. Here. For. It.

And what's better for spooky season than some Mothman nails!!!

This mani is loosely based off a picture I took in Fo76. I wanted to paint another Mothman or two, but I procrastinated too hard and ran out of time. Oops. That just means I get to revist Mothman nails again in the future, though 😏

This was my submission for the #EverythingNerdyNailCollab

Our theme was Halloween!

I couldn't get bats off the brain and had a bunch of ideas before I settled on this. I'd love to say that more bats will be coming, but let's be real, they will probably stay in the vault until next year 😅

Thank you, Saara and Sara for hosting! I love how this collab almost forces you to think differently on how to approach french tip designs. Keeping me out of my burnout 💪🏻

Our theme was Halloween, of course!

I accidentally stamped more tree than I wanted on the index and pinky. My intention was to have them kind of framing the frenchies? but ended up with it being more centered than on the edge of the nail.

I looooove how these came out. I wanted to do a very subtle scattered taco for stars and in-person there is actually much more visible sparkle, but it actually came out perfectly how in envisioned in the picture(s).

#HalloweenNails #FancyFrenchesHalloween by @pb.polish

This was my submission for the #ThemesAndTechniquesCollab

Our theme was Halloween and technique was drips!

Everyone in the chat started doing drippy poison apples, and since I've never done them before, I decided to hop on the bandwagon!

Also if brands keep being icky there will be no one left to tag 👀 kinda considering dropping it all together, as I've seen others do, but I haven't fully decided yet so...

The base is @ilnp Poison velvet-ized... the slime is Sticky Icky from Cirque. and peely base coat from @holotaco

Our theme this month was weather!

I have been sitting on recreating this design since June, and I'm so happy this collab finally pushed me to get it done!

THE ONE PIECE IS REAL

This was my submission for the #EverythingNerdyNailCollab

Our theme this month was pirates, so of course I was going to do One Piece nails. I decided to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone for this set and try my hand at doing a character portrait of Luffy. I kept everyone else simple because I knew I was going to burn myself out after doing the portrait 😅

Thumb to pinky we have Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Chopper, and Sanji. I had to get some pictures with my Chopper plushie, of course.

And look I get that people are intimidated by the episode count of the anime, but truly the journey is so amazing and you're missing out on a hell of an experience if you haven't/won't watch. Weird to say, but my husband and I have had so much fun sobbing together watching our favorite Straw Hat pirates on their adventures.

#BeeNails #BuggyFancyFrenches by @pb.polish

This was my submission for the #ThemesAndTechniquesCollab

Our theme was under the sea and the technique was to use a matte top coat

I almost wasn't going to make it for this round, but then decided last minute to go for it 😅

I really love what the matte top coat does to the shimmer topper! I also included a shade pic because I just think the shimmer looks almost magical

#SharkNails #GradientNails #SummerNails #TTCUnderTheSeaMatte by @pb.polish

This was my submission for the #ThemesAndTechniquesCollab

Our theme this month was Pride and the technique was to use a topper!

I wanted to do something that was really LOUD, so full rainbow with extra ✨sparkles✨

this mani taught me that not all cremes lazy gradient together nicely. I did a combo of Zoya and HT and while the HT were nice and smooth, the Zoya were incredibly streaky and did not play well. Luckily you can't really tell because of the two toppers.

I don't really have the spoons to do nails right now. We're finally getting a stabilized routine with dog's heart condition. My husband is on medical leave and because this country's healthcare is 💩 it took a week just to hear back from his doctor (still hasn't even had an appointment yet almost another week later). We found out last week that my brother has cancer!!! And our fridge has been broken since last Wednesday night. I'm tired. I'll still be on to manage the collabs I'm hosting, but not sure when I'll post again. I wanted to at least do some Bi Pride nails this month, but we'll see 🥲
