We made the news!!!

It was wonderful to see our school acknowledged for their amazing humanitarian and charity work this week on Ghana tv @ghana.gbc @the_gbc_network

Preslink, the school's student-led fundraising & awareness initiative run by our TY students, raised and donated 560,540 Ghanan Cedi - equivalent to approximately €43,000 - to build new school classrooms and washing facilities at a school in Han, on the upper west region of Ghana.

Preslink has been doing tremendous work in collaboration with our Presentation Brothers family in Africa since 2005. This latest highlight is yet another fantatstic initiative and a super achievement by everyone involved with Preslink and our school here in Cork.

Congratulations to everyone involved👏🏻👏🏻

Junior 14/15 National Rowing Championships – 1K Classic

Our Junior 14 & Junior 15 rowers travelled to Lough Rinn, Co. Leitrim, this past weekend to compete in the National 1K Classic, with crews from across the country taking part.

The highlight of the weekend was a fantastic performance from Conor Burgoyne, who was crowned National Champion in the Men’s Junior 15 Scull following an excellent race.

There were also a number of strong performances across both age groups:

🥇 J15 Scull – Conor Burgoyne – 1st
🥈 J15 Double Scull – 2nd
🥈 J14 Quad – 2nd
🥉 J15 Octuple – 3rd
🥉 J15 Quad – 3rd
🥉 J14 Octuple – 3rd

Well done to all of our athletes who competed and represented the school and club so well throughout the weekend.

A special thank you also to the team of coaches who travelled to Lough Rynn and who have given so much of their time to guide and develop this group.

Congratulations to Conor and well done to everyone involved.

As we settle back into a new school year, we would like to take a look back over yet another historic and hectic year for the school and celebrate some wonderful moments from the last few months.

Over the coming days, we will share some of these moments right here.
It's a nice way to highlight just what makes our school so unique and diverse.

First up, we go back to January this year where our TY & 5th Year Gaisce students were treated to a visit to Áras an Uachtaráin upon invite from President Catherine Connolly.
PBC Gaisce Award Leaders Ms Mary O'Driscoll and Ms Eleanor Walsh accompanied the boys to the Áras for the prestigious Credentials Ceremony and shared in their special day.

Well done to everyone involved👏🏻

Well done to all the new Pres students who participated in our annual First Year Sports Day at our school sports grounds in Wilton this week.

Lots of fun and games, and a great way for our new boys to get to know each other too.

Thanks to our wonderful teachers, staff, former students and of course, our TY boys for helping out all day👏🏻
