Light and color study I did a few years ago, big fan of the soft details and dramatic lighting (did somebody say chiarrascurro), as well as the limited color pallette. Happy to finally be showing it off by @pbrownie.studio

Ever seen the symbols of grace, beauty, purity, and innocence kill a man? Or The Man? Now you have. This Oil Painting came from a place of rage that had (or has..) been simmering far too long.

I’m always proud to say this piece hung in the Center of Southwest Studies for a year in the show “As Seeds we Grow.”

The composition for this piece was inspired by Guillermo Lorca, a Chilean contemporary painter who specializes in large-scale high-contrast work.

If you’ve talked to me about my art, you’ve probably seen this piece ;) I just realized I’ve never actually posted abt it. So here she is! “Vengeance of the Virtuous” Oil on Canvas by @pbrownie.studio

“Traversal” 2024
Made this one around this time last year on Procreate. It’s been sitting on my computer and I thought it might want to see the light of day. by @pbrownie.studio

“Focus” a scratchy black-ink woodblock print of a bright gas station in a desert of darkness, done by me in 2022. Based on a film photo taken by my literal cuz @riobrown13

If you can’t tell, I love moths. I love the imperfections, the neutral earthy beauty, the energy and scrappiness, and the way they’re always searching for light. This is a copperplate etching that I made in 2022, last slide shows the copper plate itsself.

This is She, 2022
Oil on canvas
22 x 33in

Guess who finally photographed some artwork and got it uploaded to print! I’ve got stickers and postcards on the way and am so excited, this is just one of those pieces I recently photographed.

I made this piece during a painting class a few years ago and never really officially shared, so I’m excited to do so today :) this is she! by @pbrownie.studio

What’re they up to 🤨

#oilpastel Messy oil pastel of a oil slick blue-black snake wrapped around a sly tan-red coyote, both look devious as hell, facing something on the right of the viewer together. by @pbrownie.studio

“Ambrosia” 11x17
A poster design I made one night, I’ll call it a “stream of consciousness” poster bc I just opened up illustrator to make a poster, and just used whatever words came to mind. As the background I used an image of my friends that they made during an art group I am apart of :) by @pbrownie.studio
