Iโ€™m showing a small lobster Vanitas still life painting, conceived in Cape Cod, exploring the relationship between historic artist colonies and their coastal environments. ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฆž๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŸ๐ŸŒŠ Night and Day Acrylic, oil pastel, oil on canvas 15 x 15 in 2020 / 2026 Artists: @dominicterlizzi @cccstiver @klumpn @sam_branden @lydiamccarthy @leahelizabethdixon @kat.chamberlin @pbschenck @prosciutto__fusco @joshuaabelow @alexhammondstudio @_jeremydeprez @dolores.furtado @billabdale @mtchptrck Recinto Cerra 619 Calle Cerra San Juan, Puerto Rico by @pbschenck
๐ŸŒ„๐ŸงŠ๐Ÿง๐ŸงŠ๐ŸŒ„ On Edge Acrylic on canvas 28.25 x 22 in 2026 Part of BLIZZARD, on view @dimin.nyc through August 28th DIMIN Gallery, 406 Broadway 2nd FL In On Edge, a Canada goose is perched on the edge of an icy cliff, alone in the wintry frozen tundra. It readies itself with its wings flapping in the air to take flight, but still peers over the edge to make sure when the time will be right to launch. The windswept icy depths the bird will attempt to fly over are seemingly unknowable, but are counter balanced by the welcoming, fiery red and yellow sunset in the distance. - PS Blizzards are enveloping, bitter, fierce, violent, and deadly. Despite these negative associations, there is a sense of peace while observing a storm from a place of safety. A snow day can slow and force respect for the unyielding natural world often ignored. On view during a record breaking New York Summer, Blizzard embraces a deliberate seasonal dissonance. - DIMIN Artists: @sarah__e__anderson @ohanbreiding @laurencohenstudio @jessieedelman @caroline_larsen___ @elena.redmond @brett_stano @deborahwassermanart @asmundhavsteenf @pbschenck Inuk Silis Hoegh by @pbschenck
๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐ŸงŠ๐Ÿงโ„๏ธ๐Ÿง๐ŸงŠ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Blizzard Opens TONIGHT! @dimin.nyc ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸงŠ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸงŠ๐Ÿ”ฅ August 6th (6-8pm) DIMIN Gallery 406 Broadway, 2nd FL Perched Acrylic on canvas 27.25 x 22.25 in 2026 Artists: Sarah Anderson, Ohan Breiding, Lauren Cohen, Jessie Edelman, Asmund Havsteen-Mikkelsen, Inuk Silis Hoegh, Caroline Larsen, Elena Redmond, Peter Schenck, Brett Stano, Deborah Wasserman Blizzard blends artists whose winter landscapes offer distance-a space to consider cold, stillness, and environmental change at a moment when these conditions feel furthest away. Instead of the nostalgia and tradition the season has come to represent, this group exhibition reimagines winter as a space for reverie, where beauty and instability collide. Across painting, photography, and sculpture, these artists treat snow, ice, and frozen landscapes not as backdrops, but as sites for memory, sublimity, and change. On view during a record breaking New York summer, Blizzard embraces a deliberate seasonal dissonance. - DIMIN Gallery @sarah__e__anderson @ohanbreiding @laurencohenstudio @jessieedelman @caroline_larsen___ @elena.redmond @brett_stano @deborahwassermanart @asmundhavsteen by @pbschenck
