Scrolling through some old photos and videos, just going down memory lane. Before I was a family man, I had some pretty significant hobbies. In my first MMA fight, my 6’5” opponent caught me with a head kick in the beginning of the first round that could have ended my run. Instead, I weathered the storm, brought home the win, and that one night launched me through so many opportunities in MMA community of Southern California. From my first ever podcast, to running combat sport shows, to commentating fights. What a blessed, and exciting life I’ve built, persevered through, and continue to live.

So many times we set goals for ourselves, and are too critical of “how much further we have to go”. We don’t look back enough to try and appreciate how far we’ve come. taken in Temecula by @pbtplatform

Leaked audio appears to show union official Julie Van Winkle, UTLA’s AFT vice president and president of AFT 1021, calling Sonja Shaw a “MAGA lady”, a “real threat”, and a “huge problem”. Interesting that the office is nonpartisan, but the unions have made it about ideology instead of real education.

Update from Sonja Shaw: A girls volleyball coach, Adam Quach, at Etiwanda High School in San Bernardino was caught with child “content”. The schools announcement to parents: “Coach Alice” was arrested on charges unrelated to our school. Wait until you hear this.

THIS RAISES SEVERAL SERIOUS QUESTIONS.

An elected school board trustee used his General Board Comments from the dais to NAME a private community member and tell the public that an investigator supposedly found that she was “unreliable” and “does not tell the truth.”

He showed NO finding.
NO language from the report.
NO context.

Just his characterization of what he says the investigator concluded. When I have challenged Barham & his own instances of telling some whoppers, I brought the receipts.

But then it got worse.

The Board President interrupted and said the report was CONFIDENTIAL—and that Emil “may have disclosed confidential matters out of that report.”

Emil said it wasn’t confidential.

The President’s response?

“YES, IT SAYS CONFIDENTIAL RIGHT ON IT.”

So now there are multiple questions that deserve answers:

Why was a private community member named and targeted from the dais?

What does the investigator ACTUALLY say about her?

Did Emil accurately characterize the report?

And why was information purportedly taken from a CONFIDENTIAL investigative report being disclosed publicly in the first place?

Xavier Becerra says Prop 39 is Donald Trump’s scheme. Two California legislators filed it. 962,106 Californians signed it. Trump was never part of Prop 39.
Meanwhile California already requires a photo ID for unemployment, for disability, and for WIC at every single appointment. Miss the 30 day deadline and a mother loses her baby formula.
Furthermore applying for citizenship or education requires multiple forms of identification.
He hasn’t said one word about any of that.
Prop 39 is on our ballot this November. Vote Yes on 39.
