l Abyss of Pillars l
.
So happy to finally share this piece!
This is the last piece I recorded at NYU Screen Scoring, and I really loved every second working on it

While writing, I imagined a lonely boat drifting into a misty ocean, surrounded by towering rock pillars, until a cyclone rises and drags everything into the abyss.
I tried to blend different textures and timbres to capture that hazy, dreamlike quality of the scene.
Then right when the boat's alarm cuts through the mist, everything shifts.

I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I loved creating it

Composed and Ochestrated by @peter_weicheng_chen

Also, special thanks to @musiversalorchestras for bringing the piece to life by @pc0102
