In September 2017, Alpha Delta Pi sister Rae Ann Gruver and her husband experienced the unimaginable loss of their son, Max, following a hazing incident at Louisiana State University. Since then, the Gruver family has worked to keep Max’s memory alive by sharing his story and creating the Max Gruver Foundation to educate others about the dangers of hazing and help prevent future tragedies.

In 2018, Alpha Delta Pi joined the Max Gruver Foundation in launching the annual #STOPTHEHAZING campaign. Each September during National Hazing Prevention Week, ADPi chapters across the country come together to share Max’s story, raise awareness, and encourage conversations about the importance of putting an end to hazing. 🩵

This week, Eta Xi stands alongside our Alpha Delta Pi sisters across the country as we honor Max’s legacy and continue spreading awareness. Together, we can help create safer sisterhoods, campuses, and communities where hazing has no place. 🩵

Happy National Gymnastics Day! 🤸‍♀️🩵

Today we’re celebrating one of our amazing sisters who has taken her love for gymnastics to the next level as a member of PC’s Acro & Tumbling team!

Here’s what she had to say about the sport that has shaped her into who she is today:

“Gymnastics has made me who I am today! It has taught me time management, self-discipline, perseverance, and so much more. It has also given me lifelong friendships with my teammates and coaches! Being able to continue my athletic career through Acro & Tumbling at PC has allowed me to experience the sport in a different way while still sharing the same love for it!” - Campbell Ellenburg | AC ‘26 🩵
