Nigeria has long faced a complicated relationship with skin-lightening, in a culture where lighter skin is often unfairly associated with beauty.

But Tamunosoye Karibi George is rewriting that narrative.

With her rich, unapologetically dark complexion and striking presence, Miss World Nigeria 2026 is turning heads in Vietnam and reminding the world that beauty has no shade limit.

Could Nigeria have a Miss World Africa contender on her hands?

How far do you think Tamunosoye can go at Miss World 2026?

🚨 PAGEANT WORLD, WE NEED TO TALK!

Should national directors be forced to choose between Miss Universe and Miss Grand International?

Following Nawat’s reported contractual restrictions on his Top 10 contestants competing at Miss Universe after two years, the Miss Universe Organization has responded with a strong stance, directing national directors holding both MU and MGI franchises to relinquish their MGI franchises immediately.

This raises a bigger question: Should International pageant organizations have the power to dictate the franchises national organizations should hold? Do they have that right?

As for Nawat, it makes no sense whatsoever to restrict girls I pursuing their dream for 2 years when they aren’t your main queen.

Is MUO protecting contestants’ freedom, or is this escalating into a full-blown pageant power struggle?

LET’S HEAR YOUR TAKE! If you were a national director holding both franchises, will you be comfortable dropping franchises that you worked hard to acquire?
