The Purdue Dance Program is thrilled to welcome guest artist Ethan Pak Rome. Ethan is a Korean and Norwegian choreographer, dancer, and teacher based in Seattle, currently pursuing his MFA at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign. Blending contemporary, breaking, hip-hop, and martial arts, his work dives deep into themes of identity, heritage, and philosophy.

While at Purdue, he will share his expertise, movement, and passion with our students and the Purdue Contemporary Dance Company.

We can’t wait to see how our students will incorporate his teaching in their next giant leaps.
