The Science of Beauty: From Hair Removal to Anti-Ageing ✨

We were delighted to see Chand Kaur, Founder of PCOS Relief, join the panel discussion at the Ulike event on 23 September 2026 at the Royal College of Physicians.

The conversation brought together beauty, hair removal, science, lived experience and women’s health, creating space for meaningful discussion around PMOS and the wider experiences of women.

It was an opportunity to share perspectives, challenge assumptions and highlight why conversations around women’s health need to include the whole picture.

A big thank you to Ulike for bringing together such an important conversation and for inviting PCOS Relief to be part of it.

🌸 More Than Just Ovaries — From PCOS to PMOS

This September, during PMOS Awareness Month, we’re recognising the bigger picture.

The condition once known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is increasingly being referred to as Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovary Syndrome (PMOS) — reflecting its wider endocrine and metabolic impact.

💗 This change is about more than a name. It’s about encouraging earlier recognition, better understanding, greater awareness and more comprehensive support.

At PCOS Relief, we’re here to Support | Educate | Empower everyone affected.

Let’s challenge misconceptions, start better conversations and make sure no one feels alone in navigating their journey.

🌸 More awareness. More understanding. More support.

📺 We're proud to share that PCOS Relief has been featured on Channel 5 News!

Our Founder & Chief Executive, Chand Kaur, joined Channel 5 News to discuss the new international guidelines for PMOS (previously known as PCOS) and why this change is so important for millions of women.

PMOS affects 1 in 8 women, yet around 70% remain undiagnosed, with many waiting years before receiving the right diagnosis and support.

This interview highlights why PMOS is recognised as a whole-body endocrine condition, the importance of early diagnosis, and how the new guidelines aim to improve fertility care, metabolic health, and mental wellbeing.

💗 If you think you may have PMOS:
• Don't panic.
• Track your symptoms.
• Speak to your GP and ask for both a blood test and an ultrasound.

At PCOS Relief, we're committed to raising awareness, supporting those affected, and ensuring every woman has access to the information and care she deserves.

Did you know that PMOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) affects 1 in 8 women, yet a shocking 70% remain undiagnosed? 🚨

We took this massive healthcare gap straight to national television! 📺 Our Founder & Chief Executive, Chand Kaur, recently sat down with Channel 5 News to discuss the groundbreaking new international guidelines for PMOS and what they mean for YOU.

For too long, women have had to visit their GP an average of 15 times before getting answers. PMOS is not just a fertility issue; it is a whole-body endocrine condition that impacts metabolic health and mental well-being. 🧠🩺

If you suspect you might be living with PMOS, here is Chand’s expert advice:
1️⃣ Don't panic—help is available.
2️⃣ Write down your symptoms before your appointment.
3️⃣ Advocate for yourself: Ask your GP for BOTH a blood test and an ultrasound.

You know your body best. 💜
