Translating directly to product of the queen. In other words, product of Queens, New York Being a Mexican American kid growing up in Queens, New York in the early 90’s wasn’t easy. Having immigrant parents that didn’t speak English made it so we had to always find a way. Figuring it out. Building character with the immigrant mentality is what makes us New Yorkers. Queens is the worlds borough for a reason as it represents and respects all people from all corners of the world. Coming together to bounce off culture and inspiring each other through diversity is truly what makes this place unique. This brand represents all. Peace and love. I am a product of my roots and a product of society. In Mexican culture you have “Dia de los Muertos”. It is a holiday that is revolved around the celebration of ones life. Bringing joy of the contributions and memories they have gave us. The PDLR logo is an assortment of skulls depicting one holding life. Respecting life as a cycle. Skulls being a worldwide and timeless symbol only made it a sure shot. Ps. If u tilt the hat to the right as its facing you. It will show the side view of a skull.
