Dear Portlanders, our famous yet shy princess (the #1 kidnap van in portland OR) has once again, lost her nerve and changed her plates out of embarrassment! (We dont blame her, kidnapping families and children is heinous!) But because shes so shy (nyah!!) we have to let you know how to recognize her in real life. 👀 Four hours. That is how long “Agent” Hernandez slept on the clock today, parked in one of the cars they use to take our neighbors away.

He picked the neighborhood he is from to do it. The same one he comes back to and terrorizes.

So tax paying residents and a store clerk made sure he did not rest peacefully. Knocked on the window. Woke him up.

We are paying for that nap 🤯

@wired Chicago-area law enforcement officers took part in an undercover probe by Immigration and Customs Enforcement into Minneapolis mutual aid networks last spring as part of the feds’ conspiracy investigation into 15 Twin Cities activists facing federal felony charges for resisting Operation Metro Surge, according to newly released documents reviewed by WIRED.

An April report by ICE’s investigations wing, Homeland Security Investigations, titled “Antifa Roadshow,” details in-person and electronic surveillance by a joint task force of an April 2 talk. The task force was made up of 14 law enforcement officers—six local cops and eight HSI Chicago agents. The talk included self-described anarchists in Minnesota who spoke about their organizing experiences during the three-month immigration surge, which resulted in the killings of two US citizens.

The document, released by the 15 Minnesota activists’ defense team as part of the ongoing federal case against them, exposes close cooperation between local police, sheriffs, and HSI agents on a prosecution that critics say crosses the line into political repression. The Chicago HSI task force, which included officers from Chicago, Aurora, Downer’s Grove, Cook County, and Kane County, used two undercover agents, unspecified electronic surveillance, audio recordings, license-plate-reader data, and surveillance cameras from Chicago’s sprawling CCTV network to identify the April 2 event’s attendees and build connections to other anti-ICE protests in Illinois and other states.

Records produced by the Kane County Sheriff’s office show the unit in question is the Chicago-area Homeland Security Investigations Task Force. Local cops who join the unit are accepted on either a full- or part-time basis for two years, with the sign-off of their superiors.

@washingtonpost Dozens of masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers trying to gather their autumn olive harvest on Friday, setting groves on fire and slinging rocks in a coordinated assault that fits a pattern of accelerating settler violence across the occupied West Bank.

Caught in the attack was Heidi Levine, a veteran photographer for The Post. Levine, wearing a protective vest clearly marked “PRESS” on front and back, was knocked to the ground, kicked repeatedly and stripped of her cameras and phone.

“They just kept kicking me and kicking me, like probably 50 times,” Levine told reporters.

She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The settlers hurled stones and set the groves on fire, chasing a group of journalists about 80 yards from the scene.

Levine described being overtaken by a group of attackers, hit and knocked to the ground. A video taken by another journalist showed her being struck repeatedly while she was down.

Oren Ziv, a journalist who also witnessed the attack, said one Palestinian was wounded by gunfire.
