The Fall of Beautiful Autumn 🍂
Poem by Pearl Brown

God made the leaves.
He made the leaves change color.
He made summer for them to live,
and spring for them to be born.
He made fall for them to live fully
to wither in such beauty.
Fall is different.
The leaves are dying,
yet God makes death look so beautiful
in the reds, in the golds, in the soft fading yellows.
Maybe life is the same.
Maybe we shouldn’t be afraid of growing old,
because isn’t that the beauty?
To live, to breathe, to fall
and to value every moment
before winter comes
and everything is gone.

⚠️⚠️ THE CAPTION ⚠️⚠️

Stop overthinking. You don’t have to force what’s already in God’s hands. If it’s God’s will, no person, no mistake, no circumstance can stop it and if it’s not, it only means He’s protecting you from less than His best. Rest in that truth. Your waiting isn’t punishment it’s preparation. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). He’s doing something so far beyond what you’ve prayed for that when it comes, you’ll be undone by His goodness. One day, you’ll look back and thank Him for the delay. Trust Him in the stillness. Trust Him in the waiting. Everything will fall into place, in the right way, at the right time, because “The Lord is faithful to all His promises and loving toward all He has made” (Psalm 145:13).
God’s love is not ordinary, it is wild, relentless, and eternal. “But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). You are not forgotten. You are not overlooked. You are deeply, endlessly loved by the Creator of the stars. He rejoices over you with singing (Zephaniah 3:17). He has counted every tear. He has numbered every hair. You are not waiting alone, the One who holds the universe is holding you. And just like Job, who sat in silence and suffering, not knowing what the end would hold, God whispered to him in his lowest place, “I will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy” (Job 8:21). That same promise is for you. Joy is coming. Breakthrough is coming. The season will shift. Your mourning will turn into dancing, your ashes into beauty, your fear into faith.
Don’t let go of hope, stay and watch what only God can do. Even when He doesn’t speak in thunder, but in the bloom of flowers and the hush of a early morning, He is still speaking. His silence is never absence. His quietness carries wisdom.“The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you…” (2 Peter 3:9). So be still. Let your heart find rest in the One who writes galaxies into place and still chooses to walk beside you. by @pea.sofia

this might be a hard truth for you to swallow, but I want you to read it.
please don’t call yourself a Christian if you are only in it when you want to be. that is lukewarm. Revelation
6:5 says that, “I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot.
Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold,
I will spit you out of my mouth.”
As Christians we NEED to be the light of this world, the salt, and when you are only a Christian when life is “good” you are using God.
I know that’s hard to read. But I want you to search your heart. Do you truly want God? or only the good things that come along with Him? taken in Porto, Portugal by @pea.sofia

Be a light. Today was a really rainy, dark and gloomy day, but something inside me told me to be a light in someone’s world today. When people see you, let them see the joy that radiates off of you. You can find an everlasting joy in Jesus. Be kind and make everyone feel loved. Tell them how much they’re loved.
Comfort people, help people, compliment people, encourage others! Tell someone about Jesus.
