They say that when life throws you lemons, you should make lemonade.
But what happens when life throws things your way that numb your ability to create something out of the very things that threaten your existence?

How do you create joy from the very things that break the core of your humanity?

How do you smile in the face of loss, as though grief were a better blanket to hide beneath?

How do you make sense of a life that makes you feel stupid at every twist and turn?

It's easier to preach hope than to be the one hanging by a thread of despair.

Words of encouragement, when spoken without personal experience, can sound like a well-crafted motivational speech that has yet to pass through the furnace of life.

Finally, I hope that, for some reason, somehow, you're able to create something out of this beautiful life of yours, regardless of the shades of light and darkness life throws your way.

And if, along the way, you find yourself unable to make anything out of what life has handed you, I hope you remember that you don't always have to turn your pain into something beautiful.

Sometimes, it's enough to simply live through it.

We’ve lied to ourselves so well
that we’ve become strangers
to the truth we once believed in.

We’ve questioned our authenticity
as though it were a copyright,
as though it needed permission to exist,
like paperwork waiting
for a stamp of approval.

We tell ourselves it’s best
to fit into the world’s standards,
so we submit to its dictates:

Don’t do too much.
Don’t show too much.
Don’t be too much.

Gradually, we shrink willingly,
Still, we lose sight of the giant in us.

We celebrate our smallness
as though it were a trophy to be admired.
We hang it on the wall
like a framed achievement.

How do we expect to know
what greatness tastes like,
when our tongues have grown used
to the flavor of smallness?

But if we all choose to fit in,
who sketches the original lines
for those coming after us?

If we all shrink,
who dares to take up
the space we’ve abandoned?

If we all settle into mediocrity,
whose voice rises high enough
to be mistaken for truth to remind us
of who we were before the edited version of ourselves?

And if we keep rehearsing these quiet lies,
one day we’ll wake up
in a world scrubbed clean of honesty,
where truth sounds unfamiliar,
and deception echoes louder
than anything real.

I'm grateful to God for the gift of life, the privilege and opportunity to serve in His vineyard and for the countless blessings He has brought my way.
Thank you Apostle Femi Lazarus for being such a Blessing to me. Thank you for your prayers and gifts, it means a lot to me.

I'm truly lost for words to express my gratitude to God and for everyone that has celebrated me today.
Indeed God is Good, faithful and a loving Father who takes good care of His children. by @peace_jerwel

If you’re reading this, it means you’re old enough to understand life and to relate to some of the things I’m about to say.

Some of you have already written your goals for 2026, while some of us are still finding our footing.
Whichever side you’re on, I’d like to ask that you pause and listen to these few words.

Regardless of your plans, your goals, or even your unplanned schedules, I hope you cling to the God who exists outside of time.
I hope that in all your searching and striving, your hunger for Him grows so deep that the world can’t come close to satisfying you.
That even the oceans of the earth will never be enough to quench your thirst for your Lord.

I hope you build such a deep history with God that it reshapes how you define pain,
so much that the world cannot make sense of it.
I hope that the grief you may walk through this year will not break your trust in Him, but instead becomes a reason you speak more of His love than of your heartbreak.

And when it’s finally time to go home to Him, I hope we are ready—spotless, fulfilled, and proud that we truly made the most of our days on earth.

As important as it is to chase your dreams, your visions, and yourself,
I hope you chase the most important Person of all—God.
Chase Him with everything you have, holding nothing back.

I hope you realize that this life you live is not yours to own, not yours to keep, and not yours to take.
It is a gift, a trust, an entrustment, one we will give account for at the end of the day.
Live with the awareness that all you have comes from God, and to Him alone all the glory returns.

At the end of each day, we are either drawn closer to God or closer to the devil.
I hope every one of yours pulls you closer to God.

Here’s my official welcome to 2026.

I don’t think I can ever get used to God’s faithfulness.
I don’t think I can ever get tired of His grace and overwhelming love.
My story won’t even begin without God or end without Him.
He’s the beginning, the inbetween God and the ending.
I’m at eternally grateful to the God who lives outside eternity.
It’s been an amazing journey and all praise to God. by @peace_jerwel

Someday, you’ll walk into the room of your fears and you’ll own the room.
You’ll face them, and realize: it was never fear that kept you from chasing what you longed for.
That day, you’ll see there was more beneath the fear.
You’ll realize—it was you.
You were the one holding yourself back from every possibility.
Fear was only a companion—one you kept around to validate your self-doubt. by @peace_jerwel

To the Fathers,
This is to the fathers who fathered great men
And raised honorable daughters.
Fathers who were present enough to play the daddy role —
And emotionally available to the needs of their partners.
This is for the fathers who changed baby diapers
Like it was their favorite chore in the house,
Who stayed up through sleepless nights,
Rocking their babies to sleep,
Knowing they’d still report to the office early.
This is for the fathers who sacrificed comfort for their families,
Who rarely took vacations but made sure
Their spouses and children could.
Fathers who wore torn trousers and faded shirts,
As long as the home was filled with laughter and peace.
To the fathers served divorce papers — but never left their children’s lives.
To those wrongfully convicted or lied against —
Yet still showed up.
Fathers who were never abusive,
Who protected their women more than their pride.
Fathers who worked while sick,
Who didn’t live long enough to eat the fruit of their labor.
But whose legacies lived on —
Whose words became the foundation of everything good.
To the fathers here,
And those on the other side of eternity —
With love from my heart,
I say: thank you.

Where Are the Men?

Where are the men who left home to feed home,
But couldn’t make enough to give themselves the life they deserve,
Yet ensured that home never lacked?

Where are the men who grew up faster than their elder siblings,
Just because their gender demanded they play the daddy role
Earlier than expected?

Where are the men who were abused at an early age,
But stayed silent because society taught them
That speaking out was a sign of weakness—
A burden only for women?

Where are the men who hide to cry,
Drowning sorrow in bottles and smoke
Because the world doesn’t permit their pain?

Where are the men juggling multiple jobs,
Barely sleeping at night,
Sometimes skipping meals,
Just to keep the home running smooth—
So that lack is never a topic of discussion?

Where are the men who honor their partners,
Showering them with the love they never received,
Still showing up,
Because being a husband is not just duty,
It’s a lifelong commitment?

Where are the men who protect their families
Even at the cost of their own lives—
Bleeding, but still standing?

Where are the fathers who raised strong daughters
Who became great mothers—
But never got the accolades
Because mother’s love speaks louder
Than daddy’s quiet commitment?

Where are the men who fought for women’s freedom,
Yet were forgotten,
Or even hurt by those they once defended?

Where are the men who went silent,
Afraid to share their truth—
Because the world listens more
To the tears of women than
The bitter truth from a man’s lips?

Where are the men who still choose right,
No matter how life treats them?

Where are the men
Who wore the hat of a mother when she was gone,
Changing diapers with fatherly grace?

Where are my heroes?
The faithful ones.
The loving ones.
The hardworking ones.
Where are my men of integrity?

I honor you.
For the wars you fight behind closed doors.
For the secret tears you hide from the world.
For the scars life has given you—
Yet you still show up looking strong.

I honor you.
For juggling life, work, and family with quiet strength.
For sacrificing your own happiness
For the needs of your spouse and children.

I honor you—
For all you stand for.

I was told that I’d never fit in,
Too small for the crowd and too big for the room.
So I stood aside as I watched everyone take their places and act their roles.

Unbothered by how many times doubt had whispered to my ears from the lips of those I once called friends, I smiled.
I smiled because they underestimated me,
They underestimated the fact that the problem wasn’t about fitting in.
 But no-
It was about my aura,
My grace,
My ability to turn still necks.

If only they knew that being in the room isn’t a stamp of belonging.
It’s merely a privilege of opportunity.

If only they knew that fitting in was belittling to my person, a betrayal of who I am.
Maybe then, they would have thought twice before looking over my shoulders.

So hear this:
Don’t feel sad when you’re being told that you don’t fit in.
You were never meant to.
You were born to stand out!

Peace❤️🤍

Work shouldn’t be just about earning a salary to meet daily needs. Sometimes, it should be about something deeper—impact, vision, and the passion to create lasting change.

My journey with IFUDIP (Initiative for the Upliftment of Disabled Persons) has been more than a job; it’s a calling. It’s not just about fulfilling a job description—it’s about the lives I’ve touched along the way. It’s about the smiles I’ve been privileged to bring to the faces of our beneficiaries. It’s about the sound of hope echoing in the ears of children living with disabilities. It’s about the fire in my soul, the relentless passion to stand up for the rights of those society too often overlooks—because they too are worthy of love, respect, and equal opportunities.

Every day, I wake up proud of the decision I made to be part of this incredible organization. I may not have all the money in the world, and my paycheck might not afford the lifestyle I sometimes dream about. But what I do have is purpose, fulfillment, and a sense of peace that no amount of money can buy.

I am fulfilled.
I am blessed.
I am content.

And for that, I’m eternally grateful.
