My college journey has not been an easy one & I am grateful for that. I have learned to lean on God more & pray heavy. I have seen just how much I can truly persevere & sit in the fire. I have cried tears I never thought I would. I have fallen and gotten up. I have failed and still said I will try again. I have made friends that have turned into family. I have found out more about myself in the last 2 years & I am thankful for that. In the words of Felicité “Idk how you do it all and take 14 classes”. (It’s really 4 classes that’s the max but you get the point lol.) I don’t either but I know God didn’t give me what I could not handle. I’m thankful for my community & my support system. This would not be possible without you all. My Colored Museum family, pssst, I love you so much! Through kinks, comb throughs & all. My siblings, you hold the warmest spot in my heart & I love you! My family, I hope I keep making you proud.

Here’s to a new chapter, a new journey full of endless possibilities with faith & part delulu.
