🌽 Meet the Elote Pizza. 🌽

Inspired by Emilia’s Mexican heritage, we took everything we love about elote and put it on a pizza.

Handmade dough with @cairnspringmills flour. House-made white cream sauce. @ferndalefarmsteadcheese Fontina. Charred corn. Calabrian chili. Cotija. Cilantro-lime crema. Fresh cilantro. A squeeze of lime. It’s creamy, smoky, tangy, and just the right amount of heat.

Two back-to-back sellouts. ❤️

We’re still wrapping our heads around it. Thank you to everyone who came out, waited in line, and supported us this weekend. We don’t take it for granted.

Sundays are usually our day off, but we couldn’t resist testing a new summer pizza... and it definitely didn’t disappoint.

Peace Loaf pizza prep is a whole production, and this week we’ve got two markets.

That usually means David’s at the commercial kitchen three long evenings in a row after working his full-time job, making sauce, prepping toppings, and mixing dough. Add in focaccia, cookies, and all the baking at home, and every week feels like a little bit of chaos but the organized kind.

If you know me, you know I cope with spreadsheets, color-coded calendars, checklists and at least three backup plans. 😂 It’s honestly the only way we’re able to pull this off.

People ask us all the time how we do it. The answer is... some weeks, we’re not really sure either.

We keep showing up. We keep encouraging each other. We keep reminding ourselves why we started.

One day we’ll take a full 24 hours completely off including parenting, which, for the record, hasn’t happened since our daughter was born over five years ago. 😅

Until then, we’re just over here making pizza, making memories, and hoping one day we’ll look back at these exhausting, beautiful seasons and be really proud we kept going. ❤️ by @peaceloafco

Another sell out. 🤍

Thank you, Maple Valley.

It’s honestly hard to put into words what your support means to us. Every Saturday you show up, wait in line, tell your friends about us, and come back again the next week. We don’t take any of it for granted.

Life is busy. We’re both working full-time, raising two little kids, meal prepping, doing laundry, cleaning the house, potty training, trying to make time for friends and family, and somehow still trying to prioritize our own health. Some weeks it feels like we’re barely keeping all the balls in the air.

And then there’s Peace Loaf Co.

Somewhere along the way it became more than a side business. It’s become a part of us, and it’s here to stay.

One of the things that catches us off guard every market is hearing people say, “I can’t believe you don’t have a storefront.” As flattering as that is, we think that’s still YEARS away. 😂

For now, we’re exactly where we want to be. Learning every week, making great food, meeting incredible people, and building this one Saturday at a time.

Well... I think we have a new favorite (we love it so much we have it open for pre-orders)

Meet our Smoked Brisket Pizza 🇺🇸

It starts with our pizza dough made with @cairnspringmills flour, a homemade BBQ cream sauce, Fontina from @ferndalefarmsteadcheese and @beecherscheese black garlic cheddar.

Then David adds the brisket he’s been smoking (which, if you know him, he’s pretty proud of 😄). We finish it with pickled red onions from @secretvalleyproduce and fresh local chives.

It’s smoky, a little tangy, super cheesy, and honestly just really, really good. We can’t wait for you to try it.

We’ll have it by the slice at the @maplevalleyfarmersmarket on the 4th of July, and we’re also opening up a limited number of whole 12-inch pizzas for pre-order.

If you’d like to guarantee a whole pie, send us a message here or email peaceloafco@gmail.com by Thursday, July 2 at 3pm. We’ll send over an invoice and reserve your pickup time between 9am and 2pm.

If we have extras after pre-orders are filled, we’ll also offer whole pies at the market.
