So excited to start working on this one-of-a-kind community project. This is our effort to celebrate Chicago’s queer folk & country scene and collaboratively build a living and breathing document that represents it. Hosted by the amazing @olivialovelier and featuring performances by @thedevilsaidjump @lonesomeandrew @thegrowingboys and @hell___trash

By and By is songwriting symposium that aims to create a definitive book of Queer Country’s standards. Artists perform their submissions to assemble the archive one page at a time. Join host Olivia Love as we document the intimate stories behind songs and create a live document of queer music meant intended to be shared and celebrated widely.

Please come out on July 24th to celebrate, commune, and contribute to the document as it is being written. Produced by @localuniverse_

P.S. July 24th is Olivia’s birthday! Come show them how incredibly lucky we feel to know, love, and learn from them <3 by @peach_potpie

My love for you takes the shape of the horizon. On every piece of dusk or dawn atop the demented mountain. The sweetest tune you’ve ever heard. You remind us all to return curiously to that place between longing & loss. To go there and to explore. to rejoice. to look. To stir it all up and chug. On the sweat of the storm, on dark insipid rain. I am honored to find myself here, intertwined with such pleasures.

Cheers to my best friend & partner, who is cooler than shade & sweeter than honey. In loving you, I’ve found the true meaning of holiness. Because of that, every day, I get better. Thank you, I love you 🫯

She’s always been my favorite tree💌 Happy Rusty day to everyone who’s ever has the privilege of crossing paths with this most incredible beautiful, thoughtful, genius beam of light. Oh how she teaches me so much. Time spent with Amanda feels like a plunge into a cold mountain lake, renewing. I’ve been lucky enough to have lots of time loving her💖 by @peach_potpie
