My first intro post was made when there were barely 3 of you here... So I thought it was time to say hi again 👋

I’m Peach 🖤
Reader, gamer, mum, hobby collector and professional menace™ on the internet.

I mostly talk books - especially fantasy, romantasy, romance and indie reads - but you’ll also get memes, gaming, random hyperfixations and bits of real life because I’m incapable of having one personality at a time.

I’m here for genuine recommendations, honest opinions, good conversation and finding people who like to talk back. I’m also always open to discovering new books, authors and creative collaborations that fit my little corner of the internet 🖤

So if you’re new here, say hi and introduce yourself! Tell me what you’re reading, what you’re currently obsessed with or even just share a meme.

You're welcome here 🌈

THE RITUAL WORKED🕯️💀

1,000 of you answered the call and I'm starting to think this is legally considered a cult???

Recruitment has been alarmingly successful.
The chanting is getting louder.
I'm losing contROL OF THE SITUATION!

But seriously, thank you for being here. Never thought I'd find so many wonderful people through this little account 🥹🩷

📋 OFFICIAL CULT ROLL CALL:
Report to the comments and declare your cult title.

Are you a High Priestess of Smut?
A Dark Romance Disciple?
A Prophet of the Shadow Daddies? or
Maybe even a title of your own creation? 👀

Failure to comply will result in absolutely nothing because I have literally no authority here.

Love you, weirdos 🖤 by @peachbby666

The lovely @livbythechapter surprised me with Lola & the Millionaires by Kathryn Moon and I'm feeling ridiculously spoilt right now!! 🥹 I genuinely never expected that joining this community would introduce me to so many beautiful humans, let alone ones who SEND ME BOOKS?!?!

My heart is so full. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! ✨

Now PLEASE go show Liv some love because she is out here making people's day bright just for the hell of it!? 😭🖤 Give this beautiful human a follow!

🚨 JUST IN: WE HAVE OUR VIOLET & XADEN!! 🐉🔥

Esther McGregor and Emilio Sakraya have been cast as the leads in Prime Video's Fourth Wing adaptation! And I fear Bookstagram is about to be VERY normal about this 💀😂

OKAY. I NEED OPINIONS.

Are we loving this casting, cautiously optimistic or still emotionally attached to our fancasts?! 👀👇

⚠️ Potential spoilers! ⚠️

I'm starting to think half our favourite fictional characters need therapy and the other half need to be on a watchlist 💀📚

Anyway, I gave them access to Reddit. What could possibly go wrong??? 😭

Let's see how many you can guess 👀

And PLEASE give me your own in the comments. I absolutely NEED to see what you come up with 😂🩷

Two book besties. Two continents. One very different 24 hours 🌏📸

🇦🇺 Australia vs 🇬🇧 UK!

We decided to take a photo every 2 hours, at the EXACT same moment, to see just how different our days look on opposite sides of the world 🥹🩷

While one of us is being a functioning member of society, the other is probably in bed 💀

Different time zones. Different lives. Somehow, the same kind of weird 🤝

I still think it's a little crazy that an app where I came to fangirl over books has introduced me to people on the other side of the world who genuinely feel like friends. Thousands of kilometres apart, but we still find a way to make it work 🥹🩷

Come spend 24 hours with us! 🫶✨

ᴛʜɪꜱ ᴏʀ ᴛʜᴀᴛ - ʙᴏᴏᴋɪꜱʜ ᴇᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴ 📖

We did a fun little THIS OR THAT over in our Aussie Bookstagram group chat, and I thought I’d share everyone’s answers!

I love seeing how different everyone’s reading preferences are, although I think we can all agree that choosing between Xaden Riorson and Rhysand is just cruel 😂

🧚‍♀️ THE TBR WISHING WELL IS OPEN! ✨

One of my favourite things about Bookstagram is how genuinely lovely this community can be. From cheering each other on to surprising complete strangers with books - there's something pretty special about it 🥹🩷

And I'd love to see more of that! More bookish friendships, little acts of kindness and maybe even a surprise book landing on someone's doorstep 🧚‍♀️✨

Whether you're making a wish, granting one or just here to enable everyone's ever-growing TBR - there's a place for you!
Join the fairy circle and show some love to your fellow book lovers.

You never know whose day you might make 🫶📚

Beyond happy to announce that I'm officially part of the Simon & Schuster Readers Department! 🥹📚💗

When I started this Bookstagram account, I just wanted somewhere to chat about books, meet like-minded readers and find my people. I never really expected it to open doors like this, so I'm feeling incredibly grateful (and a little bit emotional, not gonna lie 🥹).

A massive thank you to @simonschusterau for welcoming me to your influencer program! I can't wait to discover new releases, share my thoughts and hopefully help you find your next favourite read 🖤

And to everyone who's followed, liked, commented or just generally put up with my nonsense so far - THANK YOU. You make this little corner of the internet what it is ❣️

I did warn you this was going to be a chaotic, last-minute reread 💀📚

Honestly, at this point we're not following a schedule - we're following vibes 🤌

But seriously, to everyone joining our little ACOTAR reread: there is NO pressure to keep up! Read at your own pace, jump into the conversations whenever you like and just embrace the chaos 🫶

👇🏻 Are you doing a reread before the new book drops? Where are you up to!?
