Meet Peach Balajadia (she/her) — Born in the Philippines and came from California before moving to Chicago, Peach earned her undergraduate degree in theatre from California State University San Marcos.

“I’m most excited to explore the exhilarating middle space between who I think I am and who the work demands I become.”

She’s loved the moments when her cohort gathers to debrief after class; honest conversations that make her feel grounded, connected, and reminded that they’re all experiencing this process together.

Hold on. Things really do get better.

10 years ago I would’ve never thought I’d still be here—alive, breathing, learning, becoming.

And yet… here I am now.

We can’t downplay the weight of what we carry in silence; what feels invisible to others can be a whole world to survive through.

Please—

If you’re in a dark place, please don’t give up on the days you haven’t seen yet.

There is something soft waiting for you.
There is something worth staying for.
One day, you’ll look back and realize you made it through the nights you thought you wouldn’t. 🤍

This Essence Piece was such a fulfilling experience — it combined two things that mean the most to me: acting and dancing. 💫 Doing it with real intention made it even more special.

Shoutout to @_robertocmendez my Essence partner, for being so easy to work with and such a great sport through the whole process. I had to fly out to California the weekend before we performed, so we couldn’t rehearse that final stretch — but he handled it with so much professionalism and grace. 🙏

And of course, huge appreciation to Shoshana Cooper for developing Essence Work, a practice that helps actors and creatives truly tap into the world of the play. 🎭✨

This video just reminded me how it is soooo important to document your work, because in the moment of performance you don’t really get the privilege of seeing yourself in the works—to see your growth, your mistakes, and all the sorts that you will need as an artist to better your craft ✨ Long story short I will be documenting more 💖

It has been quite a journey for you my hooms, from struggling discovering and accepting what the Lord has for you, the fear of finally pursuing it once you have realized it, the doubts and questions you ask yourself often:

“Will I make it?”
“Is this the right path?”
“Did I make the wrong decision?”
“Maybe it’s not too late to go back to nursing.”
“Maybe acting is not for me”
“Are you still with me here God?”

And now we see the Lord answering some of those questions slowly but surely. Even if He does not, just know, wherever you are, God is with you. And that’s the best truth there is. I see your passion hooms, and how you bloom and soar where He is taking you. And it is indeed absolutely more than we can ever imagine.

Keep excelling in all you do, and I pray you give God all the glory and honor for giving you such an opportunity to do so. I pray the Lord continues to woo your gentle and fierce heart, that your desire to know and hear His voice rise above the noise of the doubts and fear this world brings. May He fix your eyes in Jesus all the more. May He protect you and shine His light upon you. May your desire to please the Lord be greater than your desire to please the world. May it be another chapter of humility, patience, love, and trust in what the Lord has already promised you.

I am with you through it all, hooms. Your ups and downs and everything-in-between. I’ll be your best and grateful cheerleader ;), your voice of reason (by God’s grace), your pain in the butt (when life is too easy for you lol), your facetime buddy (let’s fix our lack of ldr skills pls), your prayer warrior, your sister in life and in Christ.

I am sooooooo happy and proud of you, our Ms. Magna Cum Laude! But more than the awards and recognitions, it’s your growth that I have witnessed and been blessed with that I am most proud of. Let us run this race of life the Lord has set before us with endurance hooms, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. 🤍🤝🏽
