🔗⬆️ Hello everyone and welcome back to a special installment in my Artist of the Week series, if you're new here let me explain what this series is real quick.

Artist of The Week is a series I started when I got onto @trackstarz team as a writer, I knew I wanted to do something to help artists that I felt were underrated get more recognition, so I started this series to help shine a light on all of the incredible and talented people who have been featured on it.

When @peairmusic reached out to me about doing an album review for SWAMP I knew I had to do it, Peair is a one of a kind artist who has poured so much into this album and it shows, I couldn't be prouder of him and this album.

SWAMP by Peair is the definitive album for the rapper from Alabama, we see Peair exploring his roots and laying down the foundation for the story of his career thus far.

From beginning to end, Peair doesn't let up, with both hype songs and slow songs alike mixed in the album, this is an adventure and one of my favorite albums of the year.

SWAMP is a parable about the slow pull of the world and the quiet ways it reshapes the human heart.

The story follows a traveler making his way through a swamp—a place that represents the world we live in. What begins as a simple journey slowly becomes a struggle to recognize truth. The longer he remains in the swamp, the more its environment changes him. His desires shift, his convictions weaken, and what once felt wrong begins to feel normal.

10 months ago, SWAMP was just an idea in my head. Tonight, it’s finally yours.

This project challenged me creatively, spiritually, and personally more than anything I’ve ever made, and I’m incredibly proud of what it became.

Thank you to every artist, producer, songwriter, engineer, videographer, photographer, and friend who helped bring this vision to life. I couldn’t have done it without you.

And to everyone who pre-saved, streamed, shared, came to a show, prayed for me, or simply believed in what I’m building—thank you. Your support means more than you know.

My hope is that this album becomes something young, aspiring artists can study, draw inspiration from, and build upon with their own creative ideas. More than anything, I hope it reminds them that their greatest strength is being unapologetically themselves.

@theidego and I have a pretty special record dropping tonight off his self-titled EP, “IDEGO.”

I still remember the day we met. He was making beats in the hallway before class, and now he’s fully stepping into who he is as an artist. Watching that growth has been incredible.
