Back from a long hiatus 🪫with an exquisite Malibu hike 🏔 . SOLSTICE CANYON LOOP is a 3 mile, 1 1/2 hour to complete 🔁 loop. You will pass the ruins of a stone and tin cabin 🏠 , and a bit further up the ruins of a mansion built in 1952 by Paul R Williams . Perfect place to stop for a 🧺 and a glass of chilled 🍷. For more attractions visit the waterfall 💦 or Rising Sun 🌞 Trail. Perfect moderate hike for the family. Plus: dogs are welcome on a leash 🐶 #solsticecanyon

Have done this hike 3 times now and yes I am a chicken 🐔 and have yet to jump 😂 . Props to all these amazing people jumping after a 5 mile hike each way. You’re all winners in my eyes! 💥 by @peakandsip

Now for wine time! 🍷 Presenting Luisa Kabaj from Slovenia. Made from Chardonnay, Zeleni Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla and Pinot Blanc. ⏱ Aged in French oak barrels. ✨ Beautiful copper tone which matched our moody winter hike perfectly! 👃🏼 Aromas of 🍊, apricot and 🍯 . Tree fruit notes of peach 🍑 and 🍎 with a musky and earthy aftertaste. 13% alcohol content so Take it easy and remember to hydrate friends! 💧 🍷 taken in Los Angeles, California by @peakandsip

First hike of the year! ✨Bridge to Nowhere✨in the Sheep Mountain Wilderness! 🏔 🏔Need a National Parks pass or adventure pass to park ✨10.5 miles round trip . 2,755 ft highest elevation . 5-6 hr duration 🥾 Follow the graffiti arrows - I want to say it was red on the way up, blue on the way down 💦Get ready to get wet! About 7 river crossings each way. Went during rainy season and water was about knee level. 🍔Bring snacks for the bridge! And watch all the adventurous, brave souls bungee jump off the bridge ($120 per jump I believe) 🐏 if you’re lucky like we were you will see Rams wandering about! 🧦 Pro tip: bring extra socks! 🪨Gets crowded on weekends so suggest to get there super early! We went on a gloomy, cold Jan Saturday morning and it was still crowded! by @peakandsip
