As part of our campaign to start paying some jiujitsu players by gamifying our sport, we will launch a « Lunch Money » contest. What does this mean? We will award $50 to any athlete (including juvenile athletes that are already training leg locks) to submit a video of the #gamified submission bonus that wasn’t won at the previous #peakgrappling event. Video submissions can be sent on instagram and must accompany the tags #jitsgamified #peakgrappling This contest is in no way affiliated with Instagram / META or any of its affiliates. Contest can only be won by one athlete who is voted as the most technical + slickest entry into technical attack execution. Please practice caution and take care of your training partners when making the videos ✌🏽 by @peakgrapplingofficial

One of the toughest mental block is registering for a tournament. Once you register there is the anticipation of who is in your bracket and how many stripes/wins your opponent has. Honestly all that doesn't matter. What trully matters is how well you have prepared yourself. Whatever happens on the mats just remember a loss is experience and you can only improve from there. So if you have never competed, get out of your comfort zone and register for the next tournament. You will be glad you did.
