A Thursday Sundown at Langsett - ended up being a beauty with added cool down dip for us all.

As the winds carried the scents of local moorland fires into the air, the mood was boyant yet chilled for this group of six .

we found ourselves in a less normal position as the group was entirely made up of men, something that hasn’t happened for a couple of years .

Middle aged (ish) men, running, opening up and sharing a cold water dip ensured it had more impact than expected .

A sunset Hike
Dips in Rivers
Incredible weather
Superb Campsite

⛰️ PEAKY RUNNERS SUNDAY RUN RECAP ⛰️

What a morning! 🙌

After the recent heatwave, today’s cooler conditions were exactly what we needed. Perfect running weather and the ideal way to explore the incredible trails around Tegg’s Nose.

A fantastic group joined us to take on our challenging 15km route with around 630m of elevation. From steep climbs and technical trails to fast descents and breathtaking Peak District views, this route had a bit of everything.

The best part, as always, wasn’t just the miles, it was the people. Seeing everyone encouraging each other, chatting on the climbs, celebrating at the finish and sharing plenty of laughs is what makes this community so special. 💙

A huge thank you to @voomnutrition and @runningbearshop for supporting today’s run, and to @thenosecoffee for the ice cold coffees waiting for us afterwards. They were the perfect reward after a tough morning in the hills. ☕❄️

Every week this community continues to grow, and it’s amazing to see so many new faces alongside familiar ones. Whether you’re training for an event or simply looking to enjoy the trails with great people, you’re always welcome at Peaky Runners.

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it another brilliant Sunday morning.

⛰️ PEAKY RUNNERS SUNDAY RUN ⛰️

Who’s ready to hit the trails? 👊

This Sunday we’re heading out from Tegg’s Nose Country Park for an epic adventure through the Peaks. Expect a challenging 15km loop packed with stunning views, technical trails, punchy climbs and fast descents.

🔥 What to expect:
📍 Start: Tegg’s Nose Country Park Car Park
🕘 Arrive: 8:45 AM
🏃 Run starts: 9:00 AM
📏 Distance: Approx. 15km
⛰️ Elevation: Approx. 630m

We’re excited to be teaming up with VOOM Nutrition🚀 and Running Bear🧸, who’ll be supporting the run.

☕ And the best part? Once you’ve conquered the hills, Nose Coffee will be waiting with ice cold coffee drinks at the café to help you refuel and cool down.

Whether you’re chasing a training goal, preparing for your next race, or just looking to enjoy great trails with great people, everyone is welcome.

This Super Sunday Summer Solstice Special // 21st June

Super excited about this collaboration between the Peaky Runners community and the adventure team at @kickbackcoffee

Starting at Kickback Coffee’s shiny new HQ in Bollington (near Macclesfield), this is a 20km loop with around 600m of elevation, enjoying classics such as the Middlewood Way and Macc Canal, through Lyme Park up to The Cage, and back via Bowstones with an optional ‘leg burner’ up White Nancy!

If the weather is kind, the views will be outstanding.

It’s also Father’s Day AND the summer solstice.
