my favourite season is here so i thought it would be nice to use some of my own island memories to inspire a sweltering summer sketch series of pnut on paradise zzz

momentarily lost my mind working on this because i had a distant dream of it looking more polished……but after the fourth foreign-feeling failed lineart attempt it became apparent polished is just not my style nor vibe and that is….OK

looser tank top design with a peanut-shaped cutout and flower fastening button is a new development that only followed my very real sweaty struggle of sitting at home the other week in a uselessly tight tank top during the most blistering heat wave

necessity truly the source of design or invention or however that saying goes zzz still an uphill battle trying to draw pnut in anything but pixels but we have to get washed to get clean and everything will be alright man it’s summer time

needed a new character sheet for myself so turned a sketch from last year into pixel art and then for some dubious reason decided it needed to be animated so here i am with my spoils after endless nights spent awake in pixel purgatory….

been leaning more into the idea that pnut exists as a concept instead of a set character design so i added small alternate versions and different resolutions to hopefully show that off…

lately i just really want my design to not only be easily recognisable across different mediums and styles but feel like it’s meant to be explored that widely…..or maybe that’s just my excuse for keeping my clothes absurdly simple zzz

also was my first time attempting dialogue portraits at these resolutions but coming up with my own personal palette beforehand greatly minimised the boggling of my brains……if you see brown and yellow…..i hope that for a small moment you remember me…..

had i been a different maybe more locked in kind of creator this caption would have a link to an obscure early 2000s website where you could have purchased my 700¥ voice-acted roleplay drama CD where i the handsome prince take you out for tea and flowers but thankfully…..or regrettably…..i only have this drawing to offer you…

haven’t attempted such an exaggerated shoujo style since i was a teenager so i’m pleasantly surprised by how authentic this late valentine’s art turned out even if i did have to start separating my conscience from ikemen pnut to complete it

wasn’t going to post it since it’s so different from how i usually draw but honestly this account only has experimental things so far so why not zzz

also sorry for any audio jumpscare i usually go for quieter tunes for posts but this song popped up earlier and it made me laugh out loud i was deeply compelled

been scribbling myself as characters from some conceptually cool dreams my brain conjured up over the past year

only conceptually cool because the actual activities i got up to in those dreams had me feeling like i was in the final script of the next horror box office hit

pretty fun going back home to an old favourite bare bones brush though…no pen pressure…no colouring…no stabilisation…no money…no prospects…

jokes fingers crossed this year will even better than the last zzz also i’ll probably flesh out some of these designs more later on…i just need to…understand how mechs work…

always wanted to try making something low-poly for fun but nothing on this earth could have prepared me for the trials and tribulations the picocad program put me through just to produce something so charmingly jank

honestly that’s what i get for rebuking blender

i like how i have yet to post any of my usual art over here but i haven’t had as much time to sketch other than what i post on stories zzz

unfortunate since i really want to draw these days…

officially breaking in the secret not secret new account in the middle of the night zzz

doodled myself looking particularly big-headed and squashed the other day while contemplating character design and decided the sketches would be more fun as pixels

sometimes i question if the pnut design needs to be reworked to be more visually interesting from a design standpoint but then i remember pnut is just me…..

that being said the nasty new set of gnarly knee scars i gained this summer that still refuse to fade will be added to the pnut knee alright that’s a free character update
