🚨A reminder to PLEASE control your dogs and respect other dogs’ space.

Today, Honey was bitten in the face on our walk. 💔

A woman was walking two dogs toward us, so I immediately put Honey behind me and stepped to the side to give them space. (I give EVERY dog space on our walks) One of her dogs ran toward us and she lost grip of the leash. I stepped on the leash to stop the dog from getting closer or running away, and when I bent down to grab it, her other dog got close and then became reactive toward Honey — who was still behind me — and bit her in the face.

Thankfully, her injury appears superficial, but this is not the first time Honey has been bitten by another dog.

I understand that dogs can be fearful, anxious, or reactive. But that makes it even more important for their owners to manage them.

Cross the street. Shorten the leash. Step aside. Turn around. Whatever you need to do to create distance.

And please don’t assume that because your dog is friendly, every other dog wants to say hello.

Your dog’s behavior is your responsibility. Other dogs shouldn’t have to pay the price for it.

Being bitten is traumatic for a dog — and watching it happen to your dog is traumatic for the person holding the leash, too.

Please control your dogs. Give other dogs space. It could prevent a completely unnecessary injury. ❤️‍🩹 by @peanutspalsdenver

A Little Peanuts Pals Update 🐾

We’re currently at capacity and are temporarily pausing new client bookings.

As a small, boutique pet care company, we want to make sure we can continue giving the families who already trust us the level of care, consistency, and personal attention they deserve. Rather than stretching our team too thin, we’re choosing to protect the quality of service that Peanuts Pals is known for.

Our existing clients will continue to be our priority, and we’ll share an update when we’re able to welcome new families again.

Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and continued support of our little business. We’re incredibly grateful for every client who has trusted us with their furry pals! 🤍🐾

Happy one year anniversary to George, Penelope, and Ludo! This past year has been filled with lots of tail wags, slobbery kisses, booty scratchies, and Chewbacca serenades. It’s been an absolute pleasure taking care of you and we’re excited to see what the next year has in store. Thank you for being part of the Peanuts Pals Pack! 🐾🪩
