“Ouch! That hurt.”
By: Pearle Macht

In this project, it is clear what is there and what isn’t. Experience. The experience I endured and the baggage of emotions are laid bare in this work. This project features my expression of what getting an IUD felt like. The violation of my precious body parts was extremely inspiring towards this project, as I was emotionally motivated to portray the experience that I went through. Others cannot see or feel the physical pain that I felt, or hear the doctors yelling replaying in your head, but the inner long-lasting wound is shown. Though some may say this is over provocative, I will continue to create what matters to me and the expressions that come along with it. by @pearlessque
