🍗LORD OF THE WINGS🍗

Yesterday we went to @wylam_brewery for one of their iconic food battles, and this time was all about the chicken 😮‍💨

We’re not fans of meat on the bone so thankfully there was plenty of options for chicken tender lovers 😛

These were our favourites:
Beth’s - @peckinorder Buttermilk chicken tenders with pineapple & honey glaze, ranch dressing and crispy onions 🍍
Erin’s - @daveys_uk Alla vodka parm chicken tenders 🧀

We always love the @foodbattles44 at Wylam - it’s a great afternoon for a few drinks and to try new food with friends 🤍

Stay canny! Xx

Give me cocktails and chicken wings and I’m a happy man… despite the weather being crazy, the vendors stepped up and delivered. @foodbattles44

First up was @chicken_ting with something you just have to try… a chocolate and raspberry coated wing, you’re going to love it or hate it, but you have to try it. I loved it.

Then @scottandwilsonbarandkitchen with the charcoal battered boneless wing, I got it with the BBQ sauce and it was incredible. Served on a slice of garlic bread 👌🏻

@peckinorder was next, chipotle and pineapple honey dressing with pineapple and honey salsa, that salsa was banging,

Ending my night with @fedsfriedchicken Korean wings, sweet honey and gochujang were the magic words here, another outstanding wing, sticky, messy and delicious.

Obviously had to wash it all down with an Aperol spritz in the warmth of the bar with the dJ smashing out some bangers, Thanks @foodbattles44 for the invite down, another banging event. by @peckinorder
