Way back Dec. 16, 2022, I walked into St. Luke’s QC as a baby nurse with nothing but a prayer. I asked God to put me in a unit where I would learn the most never imagining He’d place me in Oncology. I thought Cancer Nursing was out of my league… but God knew exactly where I needed to be. Almost 3 yrs, 5 West became the place that broke me, built me, softened me, and strengthened me thru benign shifts, tacky mornings, long nights, tearful handoffs, and every RRT & Code Blue that changed the way I saw life. From assessments to palliative care to post-mortem care, this unit raised me in ways I can’t fathom into words.

5 West raised me with its quiet miracles and heavy goodbyes

To my unit manager, shift managers, seniors who never gave up on me, and my juniors who reminded me of where I started ♡ Leaving hurts more than I expected… always be carrying each lessons and every core memories💙🏥✨

Forever & beyond grateful🥹 ‘til next “Endorsinggg~”
