Peekskill Pride – Event Update 🌈

Our Beyond the Peek Mental Wellness Hiking Series event originally planned for this Sunday has been postponed to Sunday, October 18th.

We’ll still meet at Muscoot Farm (51 NY-100, Katonah, NY) for a 2-hour hike followed by a 20-minute processing group. Same great experience, just a new date!

🌿 Introducing Beyond the Peek! 🌿

Peekskill Pride is excited to launch Beyond the Peek, a new Mental Wellness Hiking Series designed to bring our community together through movement, connection, and reflection.

Join us for our very first hike at Blue Mountain Reservation! We'll spend two hours exploring the trails, followed by a guided 20-minute processing group, a chance to check in, share (if you'd like), and take a moment for yourself in a supportive and welcoming space.

Whether you're looking to improve your mental wellness, meet new people, or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, this series is for you. No hiking experience necessary, just bring water, bug spray, and an open mind.

Nola Bunny's 30 minute "Express Yourself" workshop show in 1:30 minutes.

By the end of this experience, everyone was ready to get down with their bad selves!

We danced with streamers, learned how to frame our bodies with boas, participated in a runway show, and frolicked in a parade.

Thank you @peekskill_pride for giving @nolabunnyproductions a platform to pump up the party. We will always be cheerleaders for authenticity, and love making people feel their best. by @peekskill_pride

Peekskill's Family PRIDE in the Park was so magical, that it deserves another shout out.

Pugsley Park was filled with color, music, and community spirit as Peekskill demonstrated why it's the Cultural Heart of the Hudson Valley, even in the rain.

People came from New Rochelle, Brooklyn, Queens, Cortlandt, Croton, and Yorktown to discover everything Peekskill has to offer.

Thank you to everyone who joined Peekskill Pride for the 6th Annual Family Pride in the Park!

Pugsley Park was filled with music, entertainment, activities, local vendors, and plenty of community spirit as families and friends came together to celebrate inclusion, diversity, and love in Downtown Peekskill.

Thank you to Peekskill Pride, the volunteers, performers, vendors, and everyone who helped make this year’s celebration such a memorable event. The Peekskill BID was proud to staff a booth at the event. We look forward to seeing you again next year! by @peekskill_pride

🌈 Peekskill Pride photo recap!

Peek-a-Boo Family Music had such a joyful time attending the 6th Annual Family Pride in the Park this past weekend at Pugsley Park. The rain couldn’t hold us back from making music! We loved setting up our little vendor booth, welcoming families into our tent, and making little egg maracas with kids who came by to jam, shake, sing, and explore music together. 🥚🎶

This event was such a beautiful celebration of love, diversity, family, creativity, and community. From host Paige Turner bringing the sparkle, to live music, performers, stilt walkers, Drag Queen Story Time, local vendors, crafts, games, and the adorable rainbow goats from Got Your Goats, there was so much joy packed into one rainy afternoon. 🐐🌈

One of the sweetest parts of the day was seeing former Music Together® students out with their parents. They’ve grown so much, but that musical spark was still right there. Once a little music-maker, always a little music-maker. 🥁✨

Days like this are also a reminder of something very close to our hearts: Peek-a-Boo Family Music is, and always will be, a proudly inclusive place for all kinds of families, children, students, caregivers, and music-makers. Everyone belongs in the circle.

Thank you to Peekskill Pride Inc., the City of Peekskill, Paige Turner, Got Your Goats, and all of the organizers, volunteers, performers, vendors, families, and sponsors who helped make this free community celebration possible, including M&T Bank, Fourth Fridays Peekskill, Win-Waste, New York Presbyterian Hospital, MVP Health Care, Sun River Health, Peekskill Business Improvement District, and more.
