why the name “peel.”
something about the act of peeling a fruit, then sharing it with someone signifies a deep level of love and care. At peel, by serving you in this way, we aim to not only share our craft with you, but to also share moments in time that inspire connection and gratitude.

come hang with us and @peel.rpd for a one-day, single-offering pop-up on saturday 4/4. 👋 along side our standard menu, we’re excited to offer this peru tasting duo, spotlighting peru SL9* (roasted by @seycoffee) a rare and mysterious varietal known as “gesha inca” celebrated for its complex florals, tropical acidity, and honey-like sweetness. this duo includes a hot pour over and a signature bev, the ‘peel gummy’. one pure execution, one reimagined execution.

steph from peel is actually a team member here at junia, so we’re stoked to host him and highlight a concept where creativity and coffee meets to showcase how this coffee can be served.

we’ll be open and operating regular bizz hours w/ our standard menu, and peel will be with us from 10am to 3pm (or till sold out) 💪👊 taken in Gardena, California by @peel.rpd

After months of testing, researching, and learning what we love (and don’t), we’re proud to finally share our very first drop of the sharing bowls.

Each one is handmade, one at a time — and with that comes quirks, variations, and character. That’s exactly what we love about them. Not all bowls made it through the kiln, so the ones that did feel especially meaningful to us.

This first batch holds a lot of care, patience, and story. While we hope to make more in the future, this round feels different — it’s the beginning.

They’ll be available in person this weekend at our pop-up with @thingsbetween_ at @rowdtla . If there are any left after that, we’ll do a first-come, first-serve release online the following Monday.
