Thank you, Thunder Family 🫶

2026 has been a year to remember for Peel Thunder. Across every team, every game day, every event and everything in between, there have been plenty of moments that made this season a special one for our club.

A huge thank you to our players, coaches, staff, volunteers, members, supporters, and families for everything you have contributed through the year. There are hundreds of people who go into making a season like this possible, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.

Thank you for showing up for us and getting behind the Thunder all year long.

2026, you were a good one.

Thank you, Adam Read ⚡️

After more than 10 years at Peel Thunder, including three seasons as our WAFL Head Coach, Adam Read will depart the club to join the GWS Giants as an Assistant Coach.

Two WAFL Premierships, two WA State Team campaigns and an impact on our club and its people that extends well beyond the football field.

"Peel will always mean a great deal to me. I leave incredibly thankful for my time here and proud of everyone who has contributed to what we've achieved.

"I'll always carry the Hammer with me."

We are incredibly sad to see Ready go, but couldn't be prouder to see him take the next step in his coaching career.

Thank you for everything you have given to Peel Thunder, Ready. We wish you all the very best at the Giants.
