Join the fun and come watch the Taos Plein Air Painters and Taj artists Friday and Saturday as they plein air paint on the grounds of the Couse Sharp Historic Site. In addition to all the landscape painters, Sherrie McGraw will be demonstrating a still life in the Sharp Studio and David Leffel will be on hand with her to answer questions and talk about painting. So, come join us for the painting and stay for the wet paint sale of our efforts which will happen on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm #outdoorpainter #taosartscene #cousesharphistoricsite #landofenchantment @taosfallarts @cousesharp taken in The Couse-Sharp Historic Site by @peggyimmel

It’s Indian Market weekend in Santa Fe! I’ll be at Sorrel Sky Gallery on Friday the 14th for the annual All Artists Show so stop in and come upstairs and say hi if you are in town taking in the Indian Market festivities. Here are some of the paintings at Sorrel Sky. #santafegallery #landofenchantment #taosartist #newmexicotrue #peggyimmel @sorrelskygallery by @peggyimmel

Two or three times a year the town of Taos posts banners of the work of local artists who submit their work to the arts call that is put on by the Taos Arts Council. It’s such a wonderful thing for the town and the Arts Council to do and I always love seeing the work of so many of our local artists celebrated this way. It is such an honor to have my work included in the 2026 spring/summer banners. It’s at the corner of Paseo de Pueblo Norte and Bent Street across from the Taos Inn. #taosnewmexico #taosartist #landofenchantment taken in Taos, New Mexico by @peggyimmel

Last winter i decided to take a short break from social media posting. But Jeepers! I didn’t realize how long my hiatus had lasted. It’s definitely time to catch up so I thought I’d share a short video about what has happened this year so far. …. It’s good to be back. #landofenchantment #taosartist #outdoorpainter #newmexicotrue #peggyimmel by @peggyimmel
