At my dads celebration of life, the preacher was speaking about being away from home, returning home and no matter how long he was gone, nowhere ever quite felt like it…when I used to talk to my dad , he would tell me, how he was at peace being back home after being gone for so many years…miss you pop, I know when I go home, i feel your energy ,I will go talk to God at the water so my love can get to you, you don’t gotta worry about me I’m doing well, restwell…🇦🇮 #shoalbay #meadsbay #crocusbay #anguilla taken in Anguilla, British West Indies by @peiso_bg

I honestly don’t even know how to process the feeling of losing a parent. Thank you to everyone who reached out to me. Losing my pops has made me realize how truly short life is, I will never fully get over the fact that I have to live in a world without you—knowing I won’t be able to share my future accomplishments with you, but I know in my heart that you are proud of me.

My father was a simple, honest man who did not express his feelings much, but with becoming a man I understand his actions more and more , they speak volumes . I picked up a lot of your traits—the good and the bad lol! Thank you for raising me, and for never leaving your family despite the hardships. You were the most loyal man I knew. Thank you for showing me the power of the heart, the unconditional love I will never experience again.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to take care of you in your final days, and most of all, thank you for waiting for me to get to you before you left this world. May Almighty God make the life that comes next easy, and enter you into the highest heavens. I will continue to pray for your peace and your soul. Love you for eternity and I will miss you dearly . Don’t trip whatever I’m currently feeling time will heal, and God willing I will see you again in a place where time doesn’t exist . 🫶🏽 🕊️
