The boys have been putting in WORK under the keen eye of Scotty from @collingwood_harriers 👟🏋️‍♂️ 🔥

With this well-respected icon of Australian athletics powering us through, we're looking fit, fast, and dangerous 😈🧟‍♂️

Huge thankyou to everyone who flocked down over the weekend for a taste of Pelicans ultimate and to celebrate the journey so far! 💛🦢

We were stoked to have you with us for some frisbee, some bowls and some delicious refreshments 🌞🍹 we hope you like the badges 👀 (hmu if you want one)

Weather was great, rules knowledge and use was minimal, see you in bracket play (our next event) 📈💞

LAST AND HONESTLY PROBABLY LEAST - VICE CAPTAIN FISH

Previously the most vascular man on the team (the government recently stole his veins), Fish rounds out the leadership team. He doesn't do admin, he doesn't organise trainings, he's honestly just kinda there but that's enough for us 🫂🐟

The international guts superstar was a big part of recruiting for our maiden season last year and definitely has a way with words. I'm not sure vou could say it's a good way, but lord he talks a lot. 👄📣

He's really good at drinking beer and also pouring beer, using these skills to secure our previous sponsorship 🍻🤝 Unfortunately things didn't pan out well and he wasn't able to save the relationship, he WAS however able to save a man from a burning vehicle during a practice match against @dragonslayers.ultimate (allegedly) 🔥🦸

Fish is nocturnal and loves exploring gardens under the cover of night 🌃🌲 Luckily for us, he loves the Pels even more and has never finished a tournament with a functioning voice or a handful of new friends in the ultimate community 🦢💛

Despite his small stature (pics not edited I promise), Biss plays big and acts big 🧍🤏 Dreaming up the Pelicans over a coffee with Jaspy, the lil man is a fantastic leader on and off the field, and the driving force behind making us who we are 🦢

Known across Australia for being a funny guy and multi-time national champion, Biss is also a world-renowned guts superstar, competing for Australia at worlds in 2024. At worlds, Tom fulfilled a lifelong dream of completing #project100 and threw up in my bag during the process 🍻☹️

Other than beer, Tom loves Runescape and has hit level 99 in most skills ⛏️🗡️ His biggest love, however, is the Pelicans and everyone that’s contributed to helping us grow and establish ourselves in the Australian ultimate community🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Taking the helm for the 2025/26 season, the Pelicans are in strong hands with this odd, charming, and talented man standing up as captain 💛🦢🏅
