My heart has been so full the past couple weeks doing this bake sale. Experiencing unemployment from a lay off has been such a disheartening, dark time for me. In this time of uncertainty, I turned to baking to reignite an old passion because I wanted to put my mind to something that I could control— something that I could focus my time and energy on that I knew would yield positive results— something that I can then take and share it with people in my life. This is partly why I wanted to do a holiday bake sale. Lots of people question why I don’t sell my baked goods, but truth is, I didn’t want to mix business with pleasure/passion due to the fear of burnout and losing my passion. After this sale, one of the things I learned is that I can mix business with pleasure/passion because my earnings mostly just go straight back into my passion anyway 😂 I love feeding my community! Sharing what I love to do with others in hopes to spark that little bit of joy in their day from something as small as a cookie is such a honor 🍪🤍

Im so thankful for everyone’s support, even to those who weren’t able to purchase a box. Your support and kind messages meant so much to me 🥹 not sure what’s in store for me in the future, but I’m happy to be able to share my crafts with you all. I’m working on being open for commissions in 2025 so stay tuned 🤍

update! where have I been?

I know I’ve been pretty inactive here, but I’m trying to get back into the creative process of baking. I recently started a bake sale for this holiday season and I’ve gotten so much support so far 🥹

I tested these flavors for months and have gotten great results from them, especially the Hojicha Miso! lol sharing some raw photos because why not show the creative process 😂 by @pen.artistry

Isn’t she the cutest?! 🐰🌹💜 collaborated w/ @baenasbakehouse to create this 3 layered cake for our dear friend’s birthday. Big shout out to the restaurant for keeping this in their fridge while we had our bottomless mimosa brunch!! And huge thanks for Baena’s Bakehouse for the cutest macarons— we may have to collab again in the future 👀👀

•@baenasbakehouse Earl Grey macarons sandwiched between Earl Grey infused French buttercream filling
