Tigers have always embodied the true, strong self outside of the perception/expectations of others, in my work

Thanks to the talented @chairbangles for inviting me to show in “Preserve the Sanctity of This Space” opening 10/10 @prismartspace with this group of amazing artists. Swipe for deets & events

I savored long hours finishing three oil paintings from decades ago, including this one

It feels sacred carving out space to make art reflective of my personal background. Making things by hand is one of the oldest ways humans find meaning and heal. It cuts through the brain noise and grounds me when I can’t find myself in the world in other ways

See ya at the opening! Thanks for looking by @pencil.stabber

thanks @jazel.print & @singlepickles for creating CHaRMS, a riso show at @prismartspace about trinkets, accessories, cuteness, and self expression, opening Aug 8 5-8pm & on view Aug 8 - 30
“an exploration of playfulness, a curation of personal identity and self-expression, showcasing the vibrant and textured risograph printers from local Sacramento and beyond!
CHaRMS honors the maximalist legacy of FRUiTS fashion magazine and resistance through cuteness”

I’ll have a few prints including one I drew for @faithcaoculator cuteass “Pause To Feed” tamagotchi zine, and two from past zines

making/collecting cute things keeps me sane so thanks to allll the people who make unique things, who love them, who organize art endeavors, and all the people I got to meet n table beside at the SF Art Book Fair and beyond recently who inspired me and who appreciated my lil stickers and other art at the Tiny Splendor table.

I’ve always depended on the serotonin from trinkets and the kindness of strangers and the magic of artists 👽✨ by @pencil.stabber

A big time of change has got me fondly remembering my most cherished times at @smallcatbigpond residency with @jellicore Sean and Yarrow where i got to make art without pressure, feel human, try new things, enjoy the company of creatures I’m so proud to know, and feel my empty fuel tank refilled!!!!

Lookin for the tiny frogs hiding in the plants while I can!! Life is short
