happy missing merlin monday ✨ if you’re also missing the magic, the shenanigans and warmth of bbc merlin, here are some books that give off similar vibes imo 💛

this is a remastered post of an older one i made, includes only books i liked/loved. i’m thinking of making one where i list books i THINK have bbcm vibes but haven’t read yet too…thoughts?

which books have you read or what are you thinking of picking up?

books mentioned:
- the witch the sword and the cursed knights
- once&future
- gwen and art are not in love
- legendborn
- may the moon shine upon camlann
- the raven boys
- the tea dragon society
- lava red feather blue
- the guinevere deception
- the other merlin
- percy jackson and the olympians
- shadow and bone

EDIT: gwart was not inspired by bbcm, just has bbcm vibes.

happy late autumn equinox 🤎 here's my watchlist for this autumn as an insane person!

against my better judgement i've already started rewatching the 100,,,so messy but so good sorry!! everybody making bad decisions and i'm screaming at my tv screen but enjoying myself nonetheless!! and i feel like that's the merlin vibes on point so this list is curated for merlin fans but if you go to my serializd (same @) you'll find an extended autumn watchlist if you want more inspo 🤎

nimuë by aldara prado [translated from spanish to french] 🪷

got this dark fantasy graphic novel as a birthday gift to myself. a lady of the lake arthurian retelling with stunning gothic visuals. i gave it five stars ♡

found family, sisterhood, balance of nature, taking back power from predators…impressive in under a hundred pages ♡

it played a bit more with celtic mythology than the arthurian lore; you had morgane as a magical being, you had excalibur and merlin, but no camelot or king arthur!

i loved that the art was not fully conventionally beautiful but a tad bit odd looking ♡

i got this second hand from vinted and the person who send it to me left me the most fitting bookmark (maybe it was originally sold with the book??) and the cutest note i almost cried, been going through a lot and the smallest random act of kindness from a stranger was what i needed. coincidentally the themes in this story were really fitting for passing this new chapter in my life (sisterhood, family that fights for you and loves you, taking back power, freeing yourself from toxic situations ) ♡

a realistic reading wrap-up of a slow reader going through quite the challenges lately. after a good amount of inactivity, i come back into my editing era! i know i know, but sadly you’re not going to see much merlin/arthurian collection or aesthetic photos from me any time soon—i’ve moved again so everything is a mess currently. but i’m excited, i’ll have a desk/hobby room now that im excited to work on and decorate ☺️

i genuinely really enjoy making these types of edits, it’s a great creative outlet, even when i’m going crazy over details 🙈 and i know nobody follows me for these 😅

since i’m sooo behind on reviews i decided to cramp in some short reviews of my arthurian and fantasy reads!

also i’ve been to wales recently!!! will probably share some photos on @sadpendragon when i have the time.

bree in that armour...that’s my king yall my child my blood my kin i will fight for her forever

“some demons will devour you whole”—opens up to sel art 👀 ngl i wished he looked more like his [spoiler] succumbed to demonia look here!

love that on this one we got the shadow king’s crown as the emblem and you can also see the progression of the grading of the books going from red-blue-purple!!! art man, i love it.

do i spent way too much time redecorating shit? yes, and??

i’m actually quite liking how it turned out now, decided to take out the dvds out of the boxes to fill it like books on a bookshelf and still have the pretty covers of the boxes on display. surprisingly this new display also created space for more figurines display space so now i really have to finish my two other gwen funko pop WIPs!

yes i know i still have to film the rest of my collection showcase/explanation, please be patient with me!
