One year ago today, mine and Jailas apartment caught on fire 🙀

It feels like it’s been 5 years since then, with everything we’ve learned and been through

Special thanks to Charley, Elez, and Lampton for helping me pack and move, and hugging me while I stress cried in my sooty apartment, and carrying my big boxes and bed into our new place. Also to Ingrid, Courtney, and Tracy, for letting jaila and I stay with you as we were figuring everything out and getting back on our feet. Thank you CALLYSTA for convincing your aunt and uncle to let us rent from them, where we now live and have made it into a home we love so much. Like literally, it has basically everything we wanted in our initial housing search.

It was one of the craziest moments of my adult life so far, but it’s turned into something 100x better than I could have imagined. I’m not even mad it happened! Glad actually LOL. Bye U-District!

Biggest thank you to my BFF JAILA!! If I had to do it all over again, I’d want it to be with you, because you and I know how to make a home anywhere

Also for the tarot btches out there, during that time I pulled the wheel of fortune and death card like 50 times. Do with that what you will. Happy 1 year! by @penelopeoluo

I frigging love this thinggg I love when a stranger is like omg what is that or asks me questions and I’m like “DO YOU WANNA TRY IT ON!! 😸” they always say no though so far. But I think maybe they’re scared of imposing or maybe they’re scared to swim with their feet tied together or maybe they think it’s not a real offer but it is by @penelopeoluo

Victoria trip
We went hunting for bioluminescence, but it’s too early in the summer, but they look like stars and we saw plenty of those
The two trees are like me and Eva. If you ever want a recommendation for an inn in Victoria we got U. Our place was great. Saw some turkey vultures and one winged butterflies and lots of weird coincidences. 👁️ taken in Victoria, British Columbia by @penelopeoluo
