Anti-fascist, anti-authoritarian collective in Pensacola, Florida.
Protest via a free potluck every Friday at 6 PM in MLK JR Plaza, 50 N Palafox
POSTS STORIES REELS
For 13+ years, we've been hosting free community potlucks in downtown Pensacola. All meals are vegan or vegetarian, and they are free to everyone without restrictions.  We believe food is a right, not a privilege. We strive to offer a space for our community to gather in opposition to the oppressive conditions imposed upon us. Food Not Bombs is a protest against war and poverty. We work as an autonomous collective to counter the exploitative nature of capitalism. We are anti-fascist, anti-authoritarian, and prison abolitionists. Our freedom is bound to the liberation of all peoples all over the world. We know a better world is possible because we see it in each other every day. Some main aspects of our meals: 1. We break bread together. 2. Each person participates in whatever way works for them. 3. Everything is free to everyone. We also provide general supplies, clothing, art, stickers, zines, and more. If you'd like to donate to support our free store, check the link in our bio for an Amazon wishlist. To volunteer, come to MLK Jr. Plaza any Friday at 6 pm with a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. If you don't have time to cook or don't like to cook, we always need supplies and servers, too! We set up 10 minutes before 6 pm, and we stay until 7 pm. Folks are welcome to leave when they need to, but we make sure there is someone is always there until 7 pm. Stop by, grab a meal, and say hello! Dunno why instagram keeps eating our captions, but.... if ya got tents, tarps, rope, food, lanterns, propane, whatever ya wanna share, or just wanna grab a bite to eat, we will be at MLK Jr Plaza, 50 N Palafox St, on Friday at 6pm. Love yall. See you soon. by @pensacolafnb
My hands, wrists, and back say no more disaster debris work, but my heart and brain say, bitch, GET UP. Neighbor's home is inhabitable after a tree fell on it. They got 2 kids. They broke. I'm broke. We all broke. If you got any extra pennies, they're good folk who just need a little help with shelter while they work through all the red tape. The campground needs help too. Tarps, tents, chainsaws, helping hands. We need to remove all the fallen trees from the camp spots, redraw the plots, and get folks setup with new gear. If you want to help with any of that, DM me! Or share w someone who might wanna lend a hand. Love yall. #hurricaneisaias #mutualaid by @pensacolafnb
Hey yall! What a doozy of a storm. Our neighbors had a tree fall on their home, like so many of us! Cat 4 winds in Pensacola west of the eye?? Wild as hell. These folks have 2 kids under 12, and their house is inhabitable. If you've got extra to spare, the place they are sheltering at tonight costs $50 per day. They have tonight covered, but the rest of their check went to cover rent this month at their now demolished home. We also need tents, tarps, chainsaws, strong backs, or helping hands over at the forest. So many trees fell, and all the tents are gone. We need to clear out the fallen trees, redraw the campsites, and get folks setup with new tents. DM us if you'd like to help! Or share with folks who might he interested. Love yall. Edit: Isaias** you know we aint the only one to fuck that up 😅 #hurricaneisaias #Pensacola #mutualaid by @pensacolafnb
