Music photographer for over 20 years yet I’ve rarely posted them anywhere… until now ✨📸

POSTS STORIES REELS

A brief intro for those that don’t know… I’m Penny / Pen, editor of @punktastic, press tent napper & avid snapper throughout festival season. Been at it a long time, hence the naps but I’m easy to spot so say hi if you see me x 📸 - @gfinney.photos by @pentakesphotos

Well what is there to say about @battlesnakeband …? My first experience of them at this years @2000trees_festival was incredibly fun! Tbh I’m a photographer not a writer so I don’t have much to say about them so just enjoy the photos of this bonkers band instead 🤘🏻

Annnnnd we’re back to posting from some of this years festivals and I couldn’t leave out my beloved @dashboardconfessional 🖤

I first saw this band 13 years ago and have been crying at them ever since, yes this years @slamdunkmusic included. I love them. I will always love them. What more is there to say?

So lovely to be back in the company of my beloved Beartooth 🖤 from the Borderline to Brixton what a wonderful 11 years of getting to watch this band grow.

This band and Caleb’s words mean a lot to me so getting to see him live his best life and be his authentic self is the best. by @pentakesphotos

Believe it or not, 16 year old me was a massive greebo who loved nu metal. I mean I still love it tbf, so was super excited to get to see (hed) p.e play my favourite album, almost in full 💀

Nice little trip to Southampton and enjoyed shooting at @the_1865 .Would shoot again if it wasn’t so far from me ⭐ by @pentakesphotos

Arf arf as the kids would say 🐾 Lovely bit of hardcore at Slam Dunk South this year, love a festival where I can be dancing to The Home Team, singing along with Dashboard and barking at Knocked Loose. What a time to be alive 🖤 by @pentakesphotos

Bloody love The Home Team and was glad to get a little taste of them at this year’s Slam Dunk Festival. Can’t wait to get the full headline experience in November 🖤

Also managed to get a selfie with Brian but embarrassed myself by not knowing his name and calling him ‘Mr Home Team Man’ 🤦🏼‍♀️ by @pentakesphotos

Festival season is well and truly over 😭 so let’s continue my ‘Slam Dunk through the years’ series with a look at 2015.

Apparently I didn’t shoot the headliners You Me At Six… seems to be a trend with these early years. But of course I shot my beloved Beartooth and many faves like While She Sleeps and Reel Big Fish 🐠 ♥️ by @pentakesphotos

Snapping @delilahbonofficial was a great end to my Thursday night at @2000trees_festival

We love a confident and unapologetic woman 🤘🏻 by @pentakesphotos

So glad that @2000trees_festival got to experience the joy that is Mariachi El Bronx! 🌹

So much fun and the perfect band for a sunny festival afternoon. We were spoilt with bands and their side projects this year and I for one am here for it. by @pentakesphotos

So festival season is over for me for this year 😭 it feels like we wait for it for so long and then it’s over so fast…
As always my photos are posted along with reviews over at @punktastic but gotta get that stuff on the gram too.

So first up my photos of @glassjaw at @2000trees_festival 🖤 I had a lovely nostalgic weekend with a bunch of bands I’ve been seeing live for decades and I’m so lucky that I still get to do that. Ngl it was lovely to get to see Glassjaw in the daylight, rather than a dark smokey room. by @pentakesphotos

Not many bands I would drag myself to London for in 34 degree heat 🥵 but The Only Band Ever playing my favourite album in full… the dream 🖤

Thanks @cosanostra_pr for making this happen.
