Session .11 — Recovered Files

Five camera rigs running that night, a studio built entirely around content and broadcasting, and over $30,000 worth of equipment capturing every angle.

Ironically, the only thing different that night was one of the camera angles. We added a vintage 90s Sony Handycam, converting S-Video to HDMI in real time and transmitting it wirelessly into the live broadcast.

Months later, after trying every option to recover the files for the live stream, including attempts to pull archived footage through our platform partners (@primevideo), we stumbled across that cassette. We rewound it, ran it through a capture card, and began digitizing whatever was left.

The footage wasn’t perfect. But somehow it captured the atmosphere, energy, and emotion of that night better than any camera in the room could have. by @penthouse.live
