A Tribute to Dr. Alan Grant

To the man who made us believe that dinosaurs could walk the Earth again: Thank you, Sam Neill.

When you first looked up at that Brachiosaurus, pulled off your sunglasses, and stared in pure, unadulterated awe, you took our entire generation along with you. You didn't just play Dr. Alan Grant; you gave a face and a heart to our collective sense of wonder.

From braving the raptors in the kitchen to protecting those kids with nothing but a flare and sheer courage, you shaped our childhoods and fueled a lifelong obsession with the prehistoric world. You made paleontology the coolest job on the planet.

Today, the fences are down, the park is quiet, and every dinosaur is bowing to you.

We will never forget the magic you brought to the screen, the integrity you brought to the character, and the pure joy you brought into our lives. Thank you, Sam Neill. You will always be our favorite paleontologist.
