Everyone in the comments mind your business Lupe Tasi just stood there and giggled and putting her hand out after 😂

Some visits are short, but the love and memories they leave behind stay with you forever. ❤️🥹

My first cousin Sefo had a six-hour layover in Auckland on his journey home from Tonga to Huntington Beach, LA, and what a beautiful blessing it was to have him stop by and spend some precious time with us.

Seeing him reunited with his little mama, my mum, was such a special and emotional moment. ❤️ There’s something so beautiful about family, the love we share, the memories we carry, and the connections that remain strong no matter how far apart life takes us. And in the middle of his short stopover, he also made time to visit his parental aunty Malia.

Six hours may seem so short, but when it comes to family, even a little time together means so much. These are the moments you wish you could pause just a little longer — the hugs, the laughter, the stories, and simply being together.

So grateful for this unexpected blessing and for the memories we got to make, even if only for a little while. Until we meet again, Sefo. Safe travels and may you always be surrounded by love and protection wherever life takes you. ❤️✈️🌺

Family is home, no matter where in the world we may be.❤️🌍

My phone is on charge now after two days of non stop messages sooo…

Family & friends, malo ‘aupito for the love you’ve poured over our parents these last few months. As many of you know, our focus has been on Dad and his cancer journey — soldiering on with treatments, prayers, and the endless supply of jokes he still manages to crack.

But reality hits different when you’re caring for parents in their 70s. All week, Mum started feeling chest pains, so on her 2nd visit this week she checked into Hotel Auckland Hospital yesterday for a little weekend R&R. And just like that — word got out, and the prayer warriors rallied.

You all came with fruits, flowers, faith, and that unmistakable alofa that fills a room before anyone even speaks. Even those who couldn’t make it sent messages, voice notes, and well wishes online.

Mum has seen your messages and felt your presence. She’s doing well — resting, monitored, and being her usual stubborn self. Her only question:
“Can I go home now?”
Our loving, gentle, respectful response:
“No way and thank you for the question”

Dad always says he’s lucky to have his girls looking after him. And truly, this is where our role kicks in naturally — doing our due diligence, loving them loudly, and making sure they reach their 80s strong and smiling. Not far away now.

Thank you to everyone who popped in, prayed over Mum, brought gifts, and lifted our spirits. Your kindness is felt deeply.

I think my weekend wages will be a good one — hehehe — but honestly, the real reward is seeing our parents surrounded by love.

From our family to yours:
Fakafeta’i lahi, malo ‘aupito, fa’afetai tele lava.
We feel your prayers. We feel your support. We feel your alofa

My Dad. My Heart. My Blessing.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
This little reel holds only a fraction of the memories I’ve shared with my dad over the last five years — before, during, and after my cancer journey. Random photos, but every single one carries a story, a moment, a breath of gratitude.
Dad said something today that stayed with me:
That one day, all we will have left are memories with him.
That even next year, this might be our last Father’s Day together. 🥹🥲
So this year, we celebrated all three Father’s Days — Tonga 🇹🇴 Samoa 🇼🇸 and NZ 🇳🇿 — because every moment counts. Every smile matters. Every hug is precious. We don’t know how long we have with our parents, but as long as God gives us breath, we will honour them, cherish them, and love them fiercely.
My dad has walked his own health journey. I’ve walked mine. And somehow, through all the storms, God kept us standing side by side. These photos remind me of His goodness, His protection, His mercy over our family.
We are grateful.
We are blessed.
We are loved.
And God is evident in every part of our story.
This reel is for the man I’ve called Dad for 50+ years — my hero, my teacher, my safe place.
Fa’afetai tele Dad, for every prayer, every laugh, every lesson, every moment.
I treasure you more than words will ever say. ❤️ by @pepatasi

To our beloved family friends — Fusi Tuitavake, Valencia Sinisa, Alisi Ofa, Viena & our miracle man Taitusi Pole — thank you so much for visiting Dad today.

Your presence didn’t just fill the room; it lifted the whole house.

Today is Father’s Day in Samoa, and what a blessing it was to celebrate it with Dad surrounded by people who have loved our family across generations, churches, and life journeys. Even though we’re in Aotearoa, Dad definitely enjoyed the Samoan Father’s Day upgrade — extra love, extra laughter, extra prayers, and extra fa’amalosi. If Samoa wants to claim him every year, we won’t argue.

You’re not just lifelong friends of our family; you’re part of our story. You’re the older siblings of my bestest friend Silika (RIL, two years now), and through Doreen — your first cousin and our sister — our families have been stitched even closer. God really said, “Let me weave these families tighter,” and He did it with precision and humour.

Dad’s cancer journey has been heavy, but today you brought something stronger than sickness — prayer, worship, healing, joy, and that unmistakable island humour that could probably cure half the hospital ward if we bottled it. And sitting there with Dad today, I couldn’t help but think of my own cancer journey — how God carried me through, how I beat it, how I’m still here. My testimony, alongside Taitusi’s miracle story, is living proof that God is still in the healing business.

So today wasn’t just a visit — it was a faith reunion, a reminder to Dad that he is surrounded by survivors, prayer warriors, and people who know firsthand that God can turn graves into gardens. If cancer had ears, it would’ve heard your prayers and said, “ok ok, I’m packing my bags.”

“A cheerful heart is good medicine.” — Proverbs 17:22
And today, you didn’t just bring medicine — you brought the whole pharmacy, the nurses, the chaplain, and the healing ministry team.

Thank you for lifting Dad’s spirit, for celebrating Father’s Day with him, and for reminding us that faith is family, and family is forever. May God bless you richly for the love you poured out today.

🕊️ Remembering Papa — 9 Years Today
Today, 6 July 2026, marks nine years since our Faalua Irwin — Papa — went home to Paradise.
Second‑oldest, eldest son, and honestly the loudest Queensland supporter this side of heaven.

Papa and I were chalk and cheese — never the same flavour, never the same attitude — but somehow the perfect combo.
He argued like a lawyer, cheered like he owned the Maroons franchise, and backed me like a true 2IC.
State of Origin without him is peaceful… which is exactly why it feels wrong.

In three weeks he would’ve been 49, probably still yelling at the TV like the players could hear him from Auckland.

Grief stays because love stays.
But Christ stays too — closer than ever.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18

Papa, we miss your noise, your humour, your loyalty, your love.
Forever ours. Forever loud. Forever QLD by @pepatasi

Some days feel like gentle reminders of what truly matters, and today was one of them.
After Dad’s appointment, we didn’t go home — we went exploring. The museum, the sunshine, the slow wandering, the familiar comfort of island food from Avondale… all of it stitched together into a day I’ll treasure.
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude knowing he’s chosen to move forward, and even more grateful for the gift of still having my parents here to share days like this.
These are the moments I’ll hold close. by @pepatasi

Today was a little blessing for me and my second‑born, Hano Jeremiah. We both had the day off, so I took him out for new shoes. My boy never complains about the cheap Temu buys — he’s so humble that when I told him to pick a proper pair of Nikes, he asked if I was sure. Moments like that remind me I’m raising good boys.

We caught the bus — just a 10‑minute ride into the city — and honestly, I’m still in awe of how beautiful Auckland city is. We had lunch together to break my Tuesday fast, and it felt good to slow down and just enjoy his company.

My parents will always be my priority, but I try my best to share that same love with my sons. Maika’s doing his own thing now, earning his own money, but as a single mama, it fills my heart that I can still treat my boys when I can.

Every good and perfect gift is from above. James 1:17

Today reminded me that even the small moments are gifts — and my boys are the biggest ones of all. by @pepatasi

💛 1 June 2026 - Celebrating Mum & Dad’s 52 Years of Marriage 💛
From your firstborn (the original, the prototype, the one who paved the way for the rest of the “adopted” six 😄) — what a blessing to still have you both in my life, even as we all grow older and slower together.
You’ve shown us what love looks like when it’s patient, kind, and sometimes just plain stubborn enough to last half a century.
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
Grateful for every laugh, every story, and every reminder that true love doesn’t wrinkle — it just gets wiser. ❤️
