Hola Amigos!

If we haven’t met yet—hi, I’m Pepe! I’m a Tecnico Tequilero, spirits judge, and co-founder of @latequilaclub, and I’m here to help you learn about spirits in fun, engaging ways—whether through tastings, experiences, or private events.

I believe spirits should be explored, not just sipped. It’s about understanding the craftsmanship, history, and culture behind every bottle while having a great time doing it. Whether you’re new to the world of Tequila, Mezcal, Sotol, or Whisky, or a seasoned connoisseur, I’m here to help you expand your palate, ask the big questions, and have some fun along the way!

Fun fact: I’m also an engineer (which explains my curiosity in learning and breaking things down), and I’m a black belt in Taekwondo—so I take my spirits and my kicks seriously! 🥋🥃

Let’s explore together—what’s the one thing you’ve always wanted to learn about spirits? Drop it in the comments! ⬇️

Pottery pop quiz time 🏺✨

Three pottery bases. Three different makers. Can you tell who made which?

Swipe through and check out each one: A, B, and C.

Then comment your guess:

A → ?
B → ?
C → ?

Study the glaze, the shape, the little details 👀 No hints (okay, maybe a few).

I’ll reveal the answers soon. Bragging rights are on the line 😏

Started the year around 220 lbs and feeling good, running, training, and finally getting back into a routine.

Then I got injured doing weightlifting in March, my knee and back slowed me down, and by the end of summer I hit 240 lbs… the heaviest I’ve ever been.

That was the wake-up call.

Today is Day 40 and I’m at 225 lbs. 💪🏽

I’ve really enjoyed the progress so far, feeling stronger, more disciplined, and more like myself again.

Goal is still 200 lbs, so we’ve got a couple more weeks to keep pushing.

Morning workout done. Tonight, we’ll be at Casa de Ocho sipping on some coffee + tequila cocktails. Balance ☕🥃

Big thanks to my training mate @atlasandmason for always keeping me accountable, whether we’re at the gym or at the bar. 😂💪🏽 by @pepeagave
