ITS #MEETEXECMONDAY starting off strong with our incredible Panhellenic President, Ava! Wondering what it means to serve as the President of the entire Panhellenic community? The Panhellenic President serves as the chief executive officer of the Panhellenic Council, leading the Executive Board and overseeing all council operations. She presides over meetings, works closely with all the chapter presidents, elected Panhellenic delegates, university staff, and campus partners, guides recruitment efforts, ensures the council upholds NPC and university policies, and advocates for a positive, unified sorority experience for every Panhellenic member. She is our big advocate for all things Greek Life! Slide through for some information + responses from her! “My favorite part has been getting to mentor and support so many incredible women. Watching members grow in their confidence, step into leadership roles, and build lifelong friendships has been the most rewarding experience. It’s been a privilege to help create a strong community alongside such hardworking and intelligent girls!!” “Go into recruitment with an open mind and trust the process. It’s easy to have expectations before you arrive and fantasize about what you may think is the perfect situation, but the best connections happen when you’re simply yourself and give every conversation a genuine chance. Focusing on where you feel comfortable, supported, and able to grow. You may not find your chapter through an instant cosmic connection. The right place for you is one where you can see yourself building long-term, meaningful friendships and becoming a better version of yourself. I have so much love for you and I cannot believe we have known each other for less than a year but I feel like I have known you my whole life. You are an answered prayer. #PANHELPAIRS featuring a lovely rising junior pair of Pi Beta Phis, Izzy and Mia!! These two have grown close through joining Greek Life but also bonded over other interests on and off campus! A great example of how involved our Panhellenic girls are throughout Pepperdine’s community and can find fellow sisters in all different places! @_izzyanderson , and @miaaperryy both ran home in the same MC’24 to @piphipepperdine , and met that same night! 2 years later, we see them closer than ever! “Mia and I are both super busy and involved in our own respective activities, but even on the busiest weeks Pi Phi and greek life events creates built in time for us to see each other! Mia and I met on bid night, but really became close through running/ training for our half marathon together!!!! Doing hard things is easier with a friend like Mia!!!!”“Izzy and I met running home to Pi Phi!! #PANHELPAIRS this week featuring Eva & Cienna, suitemates who call different chapters home, but took every opportunity to overlap the two! Eva, a rising sophomore in @pepperdinekkg emphasized the unique aspect of Pepperdine Greek life being a more close-knit community, allowing her to grow friendships with girls in and outside Kappa in different events, philanthropies, and Panhellenic programming! Cienna, a rising sophomore in @thetapepperdine has a similar testimony to the easy overlap between sisterhoods on campus. While she chose Theta as her forever home, she has been to many Kappa events with Eva and other girls in their circle of friends and even talks about bringing Eva to Theta formal, getting to share experiences together in Greek life more and more!
